In response to Steven Brodie Tucker’s TBE post from yesterday, I would like to suggest that our President Donald Trump is not the figure of derision that SBT makes him out to be, but is a transformational figure in American history (For the record I am a former Never Trumper who is glad to be proven wrong – and did work on behalf of the Trump campaign in 2016 to get our great President elected).
First off, for one of the very few times, I will agree with something that SBT said – Trump has done many great things that I like and agree with. No truer words have ever been spoken. It is most of the rest of SBT’s piece that any qualified and competent Republican or independent conservative must take issue with.
First off, Donald Trump is a political genius. Yes he is harsh and rough. And at times I do wish he was more “Reaganesque”. But the fact is that Trump understands the modern day concept of political communications better than any president since Ronald Reagan. Trump is a Great Communicator. Trump does not use “reactionary politics” in the way that SBT suggests. Trump did not make his movement, the movement of disaffected people on both aisles of the political divide found and made Trump. Trump just became their and now our voice.
In my perfect world, I would prefer we all talked like normal rational human beings – and that each political or other difference could be settled with words like: Gee my friend, I appreciate your point of view, but you are wrong here and there, however I respect your opinion and think there are many valid points to it, but here is what we should do. John McCain, Bob Dole, and many other losers tried this. It does not work. Trump came along at a time when many Americans were feeling the USA was in decline (similar to 1979-1980) and has made people feel good about America again. Does he politicize things? Of course he does. That’s what politicians do. Trump just happens to be on the right side of most issues.
I’d like to give our President Trump a report card here also:
On the Economy: 100% A+ As we have near 100% employment, with more to come, the average American has $2000 per year more in their wallets to spend. Obama Care will soon be relegated to the dungheap of history. I do share SBT’s concern about a trade war – but we are not there yet. And we are far from any trade war. Trump is trying to get other nations to lower their tariffs towards American made goods. One way to get them to do so is to threaten them with higher tariffs. I don’t think that raising tariffs is a winning strategy, but we are light years away from Smoot Hawley – the protectionist tariffs which gave us the Great Depression.
On Immigration: 99% A+ We are moving in the right direction. Border security has been an ongoing issue since the late 70’s. For the 1st time in decades fewer and fewer illegals are coming over our borders. Congress deserves an F here – but that is not Trump’s fault.
On Foreign Policy: 100% A+ Trump helped end the Korean War, which had been technically been ongoing since 1953. Trump has defeated ISIS without putting boots on the ground. Yes our NATO allies are a bit upset, but that’s because their socialized medicine will no longer be subsidized by American taxpayers. And if Angela Merkel is offended by this – all we can say is: Good!
On the Debt: 90% B+ I was horrified that Trump signed that omnibus bill earlier this year, but the fault lies with Congress. Sometimes we need to make deals – even if that deal makes one want to hack. I share SBT’s horror that a Republican government is having potential 1 trillion annual deficits. But that is Congress to blame 90% and Trump 10%.
On protecting the Constitution: 97% Low A+ He’s done a good job getting rid of Obama style regulations and has told Congress multiple times that it’s their job to bring him legislation and he will sign what they bring to him. Something Obama would not do. Obama used his phone and pen. Trump wants the legislative process to work. That there gives Trump an A+ alone.
Overall average grade on a scale of 1-100 97.2 aka a low A+
Is Trump the dictator that SBT says he is? Of course not. Anyone who has worked with the Congress to get things passed the way Trump has is therefore NOT a dictator. Trump is an Alpha male and a legislative tough guy yes. But that does not make him a dictator. Obama with his executive orders was much more a dictator than Trump could be.
I have some bad news for SBT, and the Bill Kristol’s of the world. This is no longer the party of Reagan. The GOP is now the party of Trump. Two decades from now, GOP presidential hopefuls will be running to say they are the next DJT. Not the next Reagan? How do I feel about this? Quite frankly, fine by me. I loved Reagan – thought he was our 2nd best President in US history. Now I am of the opinion that in 20 years we will be calling DJT our 2nd best President in history (Kinda hard to top G Washington who set up our government from nothing). SBT has to accept this fact. He does not have to like it. And if that makes SBT leave the GOP, then so be it. I’d prefer he not leave the GOP, but that’s his right and I respect that. Corey Stewart is not the “darling of the RPV”. But he did win a plurality of the votes on primary day and that is how our governmental system of elections and parties works. Some you lose, others you win. Will Corey Stewart win – he has a major league uphill battle. Better than 50% chance he won’t. Beating an incumbent is difficult. But in my opinion – Corey was our best chance to beat Tim Kaine. And Corey can win in November. Which is why many of us (myself included) voted for Corey on June 12. If SBT cannot handle this fact of elections, then he needs to consider getting out of politics. Very few politicians are like former Congressman Tom Davis – who never lost an election in his life. Most people in politics have a record closer to mine – 1 win and 3 losses in elections on where my name was on the ballot. I never whined after I lost or after my preferred candidate lost. I dusted myself off, sulked for a day or 3 and went back to work. Congratulated the person who won, and onwards and upwards.
SBT seems unable to handle this fact, and is insulting everyone who doesn’t agree with his narrow view on reality. SBT would be better off not whining about Corey Stewart or DJT, and get out there and work to get Corey Stewart elected, and then try to get Corey to work towards SBT’s views. SBT says we need to stop empowering Democrats just to make a point. I agree. However it is too bad that SBT keeps doing what he professes to be against.

[…] absolutely must take issue with John Massoud’s Thursday ‘rebuttal’ of SBT’s Wednesday piece. If anything, SBT was cutting Donald Trump a huge amount of slack. Trump […]
In looking at all of this back and forth, a question arises. Why does everybody continue on ad infinitum using all the brain dead labels which the Established Order, Globalist by nature, has continually promoted for our use? Labels like conservative, liberal, progressive, populist and the like are bandied around as though all these labels were all somehow masterfully tacked down, fully defined topiaries of the mind, but are they? As it is, one might at least notice that in large measure the brilliance of President Trump is that he has eschewed this kind of nonsense of labels; and purposefully designs to speak to us by other means of expression non-dividing.
As to talk about constitutions and constitutional government, it is a well know fact among the very well-informed that we have not been under any organic constitutional form of government for at least the last 86 years, and some say with good reason … much longer. As it is, Americans have no actual ownership of real property, bank accounts, brokerage accounts, vehicles, etc.. What they instead have is a beneficial use of property held in trust, but never so stated openly except in the case of deeds. Go start doing some real research bearing in mind that the whole purpose of the original constitutions was to secure our lives, our rights gifted to us from the Hand of God, and yes, our property. Some how … all these labels don’t seem to cut it when it gets back to basics.
Folks! The enslavement is going to get much, much worse over time no matter who is in office. Yes, things are now outwardly much better under President Trump, and for sure much, much better than under any imaginable HRottenC imperium. But nonetheless, we are still living in the era of Boiling Frog Syndrome. And until a comedic use of label is tossed out the window, and a real look is taken at the structuring of government, including that of Law, until then nothing longer term is likely to improve. There is no substitute for a real education, and this is a lesson which all of us, including SBT or SJW (I frequently seem to get these two confused) should be glad to learn.

Look back on the past week.
Then, pretend that Romney, or Bush, or Rubio, or even my favorite, Cruz, or anyone else, was President.
Then, be honest. Ask yourself. What would those men have done this past week, and in response to it?
Is it time to turn the other cheek, yet again, and again, and again? That is what those men would have done, and in fact, many in Congress and the airwaves and in this and other forums have done.
Or, is it time to marshal the FACTS, organize the LOGICAL ARGUMENTS, and, most importantly, arm a WARRIOR to take those weapons into the war which is certainly raging all about us?
If you think it is time to turn the other cheek, well, we know that you aren’t a liberal/socialist. They don’t do that. They just attack, for whatever reason, or, better yet, without reason. Having no logical reason underpinning their unbridled wrath makes it difficult to argue against them. And they, at least in their leadership, know that.
If you think that it is time to turn the other cheek, well, we know that you aren’t a conservative. Because the basic premise, the fundamental strength, and, unfortunately, sometimes the Achilles heal of conservatism, is that it is all about VALUES. And well meaning conservatives can share values, but disagree, often strongly, about how to pursue them. In fact, since we hold ourselves to a higher standard, we often attack each other before we attack the real enemy, in the name of “civility.” Thus the challenge for us, if not an outright weakness at times.
So, if it is your prescription to turn the other cheek, you are neither liberal/socialist nor conservative because, you are by default and fault, nothing. Nothing whatsoever.
We are at war. Or, perhaps more accurately, war is being waged upon us while we squabble amongst ourselves. It is time to acknowledge the REAL enemies. Of us, our values, and the very Republic defined by the Rule of Law prescribed by the Constitution of the United States of America. And then, we need to expose those enemies, and destroy them with a never ending bombardment of facts, values, and courage.
It isn’t easy, or everyone would be doing it. At least I hope that it is only human weakness that prevents otherwise men and women of good character from stepping up and fulfilling the most important Constitutional role of all – Citizen.
Fortunately, though, as Trump’s anthem reminds us, we can’t always get what we want, but if we try sometimes, we get what we need.
Which is why Trump is President, and exceeding all of my expectations, for any candidate.
It is also why, in the wake of an ugly week of liberal/socialist attacks and lies and even uglier Republican retreats and concessions, we need another WARRIOR. Like it or not, we need Corey Stewart. I have absolutely no doubt and every confidence that he will beat Tim Kaine. He will pursue a Churchillian onslaught. He will fight on Virginia Beach. He will fight on the fields of Virginia’s farms. He will fight on Virginia’s Main Streets and cul de sacs. He will fight in Virginia’s Blue Ridge. And, as always, he will never surrender. We know that Corey will fight, and that he will never surrender, and that he, like Trump, can win.
It is time to lay day your grievances and pick up the arms that are the most deadly weapons of the war we find ourselves in. Facts, and principle, and the warrior spirit that forged this Commonwealth and this Nation from a ragtag but courageous spirit. All of whom were told that they could not win.
Let’s get to it. Let’s get it done. And let’s stop whining, and start winning.
“Stop whining. Start winning.”
I love this phrase. In full disclosure, I’m going to steal it and use it often. Thanks for the pithiness.
Use it, dare I say, liberally.
President Trump is also the Tea Party candidate. As is reported today, the GOP establishment, specifically McCain and some of his people, orchestrated a deal with the Obama IRS to obstruct and damage any tea party organization and its leadership. Lois Lerner was at the meeting where the plan was hatched and put in place, and became the agent of destruction. She was not the only one as obama weaponized other agencies to go after the most troublesome tea party folks. I can only hope that civil suits will bring further light here.
Of, gateway pundit and conservative treehouse have the story.
John McCain’s legacy will to have been one of the biggest frauds to have been voted into any high office in the last 100 years
And these types are never prosecuted!
Fabulous article! ? A joy to read!
Sick of SBT and I didn’t even read the article referenced here.
I think Steven is well rebuked here. Trump has succeeded beyond my wildest thoughts and aspirations. We should do well to wonder where we would be if Hillary was elected. Sorry Steven but quit your griping.
All of this will be irreverent if Trump signs a immigration bill that does not reduce immigration levels, end chain migration and nore imporntly have
E-verify.
If he does Republicans will loose the Majority and he will not be reelected.
Yes, politicians will lie but Trump put it to the voters to support him on his word saying a man’s word is his bond.
This issue and the near future will hold Trump’s bond with the forgotten men and women of America.
If he fails to deliver you can kiss it all goodbye.
I am a big Trump voter,
let’s see if he is the as good as he thinks he is.
I am now dumber for having read this.
Tenacity is sometimes better than a level of ignorance.
My tenacity will have me contact
Senator Kaine and ask him not to support any immigration bill that does not have E-verify including the 1099 and a rider to end Employee Misclassification.
Furthermore to make this an issue with all Candidates in Virginia for Congress and our State Senate.
Yes,
I am a mean SOB!
# deport the legislative welfare recipients
Wow. For once, I agree with you completely… not that I think Kaine will pay any attention, but he should feel pressure nonetheless.
Great Read!
Thanks you are too kind
You are a much better writer than SBT by far. Big kudos to Mr. Massoud ! Perhaps SBT can find a better suited form of work or play to entertain himself. Excellent article John.
You are too kind thank you
I love our President. He is what the founders had in mind – a citizen who has been successful in our capitalist, private sector economy and comes to government to SERVE. A man who can’t be bought and loves the country and its people more than any personal deals he could make. Can he be crude some times? yes….but he expresses the “we’re so p*ssed off we can hardly see” feelings of most hardworking Americans. It’s OUR money and the Washington elites are all making deals for themselves on K Street and are completely for sale – to better themselves. We’re sick of it and Trump is a breath – a YUGE breath – of fresh air.
John, while I can’t support the ideological and methodological realities of Trump and Stewart, I’ll never shy away from praising what they do well. But you cannot ask me to lay my support with people of their ilk. They behave in ways that are utterly incompatible with my values and philosophies. I would imagine this is true of 90% of Republicans. If you think winning in the short term is worth compromising your values for over the long term, then you simply underestimate the importance of your good conscience.
Unfortunately, the politics of the long term have a history associated with them. Nobody can deny the rise of Statism and the movement of the political center to the globalist and socialist left. President Trump has managed to moderate and even reverse some of the associated trends by taking the political war for America and the Constitution directly to the left. Is he your or my perfect advocate? No! But he is the right direction for a populace horribly oppressed by the increasing elitist and despotic tendencies of those in the federal government.
Today, I heard a radio discussion of federalism. The point was even the advocates for federalism amongst the founders would not support a federal government that has turned the states into nothing more than servants of the federal government. The states are not only laboratories of democratic ideas but part of the checks and balances in a constitutional America. If we keep giving ever more power to the federal government and ignore the moderating aspects of the states then we all lose our individual freedoms.
He’s doing a lot right, but that doesn’t mean that I have to support what he’s doing to the party, to ideology, to the culture and values held in this country. Look, I’m not sure what the solution is. I can’t support the Democrat or Libertarian parties. The Republican Party still best represents me.
But I’m not going to watch white identity politics and protectionism invade the party without offering as many different arguements and protests as I can think of.
Protectionism is the punch back in the face to the one world order
How does raising taxes on US consumers punch the world?
Trump has not raised taxes on Americans, Trump has put effort in to balanced trade.
Trade treaties used to be debated and we should go back to that not leaving fast track trade up to an elected liar.
Some touchy feely Republicans say we need a free flow of labor, Bull Shit.
Trump gets his hb labor , pays the $1,000.00 per head. The other Republican desires the free flow. This cost American tax payers money.
Just look at the MS-13 childeren housed in juvenile detention in Staunton.
Look at the smugglers that left a 6 year old boy on the desert.
You want to talk Tax let’s talk the amount of taxes wasted to protect America from the free flow of crap!
If there are Republicans that don’t like Trump then do a better job at representing ALL of America.
You keep Mcstain, Grahamnesty, Romney, Bush, I take Trump.
Buy American, Employ American for God sake be American or suffer the consequences of a Democrat.
My flag has 50 stars representative of our 50 states not 50 other countries.
If you desire to be a foreign manufacturer then go to another country.
I once had the opportunity to sit down with a very Senior elected Republican to discuss the issue of illegal immigration in Va Construction Industry.
He asked why Virginia Builders are breaking Virginia laws for this.
I told him if these pansies could build their homes in China and load them on cargo ships to sell them in Virginia they would.
If you can’t be successful in America the world of opportunity then that is your problem.
# deport all illegal alien sympathizers, Republicans included.
Canada does impose a 270% tariff on US dairy products. American dairy farmers have found some loopholes to exploit to get around this sky high tariff but it exists. How is it fair for Canada to tax US dairy products at that rate? Trump knows exactly what he’s doing. Start a trade battle and then negotiate a better deal for the United States. What a pity that gutless wonders of presidents from both parties (going back decades) have let America become a doormat in world trade.
Raising taxes is as bad as allowing tax fraud.
The Va. Joint Legislative Audit Review Committee and Governor Ralph Northam state that Employee Misclassification
cost Virginia an estimated annual loss of $28,000,000.00 to Virginia’s
General fund on top of the Insurance Fraud.
SBT,
Why did 5 Va. Republicans vote no on hb1106 Employee Misclassification legislation this past 2018 General Assembly Session?
Is that the only way that Republicans can Employ illegal aliens and others to exploit them at the cost to the Virginia taxpayer?
Does this tax fraud contribute to Virginia’s debt?
Does this tax fraud contribute to National Debt?
Does the Federal Government contribute to Virginia’s unemployment funding?
The only thing wrong here is John over grades Trump on illegal immigration.
I will give him a C+, just a little above average.
Would Va Republicans on a State and Federal Level assist him in getting an A over the next 8 weeks?
E-Verify , including the 1099 anyone?
Another great comment.
I’m sorry. I don’t buy this idea that what is good for America is white identity politics simply because a few leftist politicians and their media sycophants find it convenient to label it as such. The American population most damaged by uncontrolled immigration has been the black population of the inner cities. Finally, after decades of slavery on the democrat plantation, some black celebrities and leaders are speaking out and challenging the oppressed black populace to open their eyes to the opportunities being created by President Trump and, by inference, the Republican Party.
It’s great that you identify with us more than the other losers, but there’s a difference between calling yourself a degree of Republican and being a member of our Republican Party and selecting our nominees.
We run with good enough rather than perfect, and you are expected to fully support our good enough.
I’ve always done my duty.
Yes and that is appreciated, but I have to wonder if your constant conscientious objections to the party standard-bearers and our supporters abrogates your duty and does more harm than good.
As that famous tyrant once said: “A house divided against itself cannot stand.”
You are such a good boy! And always so fair minded!
“White identity politics”? I don’t see any evidence that Trump is an identitarian. He did not ask for their support, so it is unfair to saddle him with their views. As regards “ideology”, I had always thought conservatives tended to eschew ideologies, especially comprehensive and Utopian ones. What is your ideology?
Skip Stewart – name five different behaviors that Trump “has” that are utterly incompatible with your values and philosophies.
Let’s start with one. He lies.
Wow… an elected official lying. Stop the presses!
Ok, he lies. Now, lets do a legitimate comparison of lies and their importance to the American people. Obama vs Trump. You can keep your doctor seems pretty big. What is a comparable Trump lie. How about Bill Clinton. I did not have sex with that woman amounted to perjury.
Once the audit is complete, I will release my tax returns.
I won’t benefit from the tax cut legislation.
Only the Democrats can reverse my policy of separating immigrant families
We’ve signed more bills — and I’m talking about through the legislature — than any president ever.
There are literally hundreds of lies. Some little, many very big. The man is a liar, maybe the biggest ever!!
Good try.
If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor. Health insurance will go down by $2500 per year per family. Thanks to your president, I and many of my employees lost their health insurance not once but twice. Thanks to your lying president – Barack Hussain Obama.
If they are your employees and they lost their health insurance then you are the only one to blame as you obviously cancelled their coverage.
If you actually believe what you said – then you are truly the stupidest person and the most intellectually dishonest person alive.
Having run my own company for more than a decade and having provided my employees and their families with quality healthcare insurance consistently at great personal expense, I can assure you that I know exactly what I am talking about.
Obviously pre-Obamacare.
No pre-existing condition 50% premium increase for the wife of one employee’s previous cancer case – applied to every single employee. Obamacare made it better for everyone.
John,
You have the power of the pen so to speak.
Democrat Governor Ralph Northam must be called for claims of abuse on illegal immigrant children in Staunton Juvenile Facility, racist?
I would also expect to find racist within the Lynchburg Juvenile Facility and across the State under his watch.
I would go as far as to consider it to be racist for these State and City employees to even have a political discussion on this matter on the job.
I don’t pander to either side of latinos exploitation for a political upper hand.
I did not create this crap, the elected have all the blame.
He is just a troll. Will say anything to get a rise out of people trying to have a thoughtful discussion.
It’s funny I’m a dirty White Boy, kin fought for the Confederacy but I don’t let people define me, I laugh like water off a ducks back.
The folks in our GA and Congress piss me off, there
is the real problem.
One has to have actual thoughts to have a thoughtful discussion. None in evidence here.
The Benghazi atrocity was the result of an anti-Muslim video.
I actually saw the video. First, it was a trailer intended to recruit investors. It was utterly amateurish to the point of being laughable. Obama and Hillary needed a scapegoat and somehow they found the idiot.
No man in his right mind could or should have voted for the men burned to death in Benghazi.
During Clintons primary against Obama she said;
“Who do you want answering the phone at
1am in the morning”
Well the phone was a ringing off the hook.
She should have been shot for seditious leadership.
For that Embassy to burn there is no other issue to discuss on the Hildabeast.
Obama tried to takeover healthcare and use it as a carrot and stick to control American citizens. It was and still is a mechanism to transfer government resources from the working middle class to the welfare class.
You either have integrity, or you don’t. Trump does not. I hope that the Trump sycophants on here are not representative of what passes for Republican today.
Am guessing you think obama had integrity. How about Clinton. Integrity is a strange word to use in politics. I think opportunism is more appropriate.
Bad guess. The fact that you have trouble recognizing or defining integrity is troubling. Do you consider Corey Stewart’s blatant lies during the last week of the recent primary “opportunism?”
Of course he is an opportunist. If you want to get elected, you have to assemble a majority of voters. The Democrats have long realized this and integrity has no meaning to them at all – the illegal immigration situation and lack of resolution is their baby yet they have screamed to paint Trump as being somehow different from obama who set the standard. A $25b wall is chump change when compared to the $135b per year to support illegal immigrants.
One thing I will tell you about integrity is that I don’t lie. You may not like the truth I tell but I will defend it with facts and reason. There are, of course, other aspects to integrity but truth is essential. Frankly, Trump has been far more truthful about his intentions and actions than obama ever was.
Did you lie when you suggested Trump is responsible for an “invasion of white identity politics” in the Republican party, and you defended your opposition to him on that basis? It seems to me that Trump would call that accusation totally unjustified BS….. in other words a lie. How is your lie any different than Trump’s lies.
This is because Trump said both sides were responsible for the Charlottesville riots. This was true but not politically correct. Now we know that the Charlottesville and Virginia authorities were setting things up for violence to occur. Should be a very interesting trial.
Correction warmac now believes, don’t drag the rest of us into this.
You can believe whatever you want but the facts do matter. Since the police chief essentially admitted the setup I think I will stick with what I have said.
If facts matter, please stick to those and not wild conspiracy theories.
I wish you bothered to read about the entirety of what happened in Charlottesville. There are lots of relevant news reports. Apparently, you prefer committed ignorance to uncomfortable truths. Oh well.
“Committed to ignorance’” you should adopt that one as your catch phrase. I know I will be mentally adding it to every one of your posts
You should watch the documentary “White Right: Meeting the Enemy”. It was made by Deeyah Khan, a Britich Muslim woman. In the documentary Khan strives to meet and understand the white supremacists in the US. One of the groups was among the debased organizations marching in Charlottesville. Showing some real courage Deeyah marched with the White Supremacists in Charlottesville filming the march the whole way. Early in the march, before the violence broke out, Deeyah and those peacefully marching with her are pepper sprayed by the anti-marchers lining the streets. She ended up choking and almost unable to see. It’s on film produced by a woman who is about as anti-white supremacy as you can get.
Trump was right. There was bad behavior on both sides.
But Chris can’t accept that because it doesn’t fit the politically correct narrative
There is always a simple way to write articles by pointing fingers and Not getting the facts straight. I think it is long over due to call out writers who believe they are polished and professional but need to seek out more respected methods before placing words toward article blogs. Unless they don’t mind coming across as second rate writers or nonsense scribblers ??? John has a superb rebuttal and quite professional with real truth.
A lot.
And 90% of his supposed lies come from the fake news of the msm.
No, let’s not start with one. I asked you for five. You gave a broadcloth answer of “he lies”. Is that similar to the Eric Cantor lie (who you lamented in an earlier post being forced to seek his power and fortune outside the government) during the “drill here, drill now” capitulation of “we will get them next time”? And the next time has never come?
Name five – with examples.
Again I share your opinions on protectionism. But we aren’t anywhere near that point . But to suggest he gets an F on the Constitution is ludicrous .
And please don’t tell anyone that RPV is in the hip pocket of Corey Stewart. That’s crazy.
Actually, the SCC did unite to give Corey the best kind of nomination method.
Right now we are all singing from the same sheet of music, no matter how much some screech.
Yes, the SCC is openly on board, however sadly there remain certain leadership individuals who are selling dark opinion of our great candidate Corey Stewart (behind the scene) even still because they prefer Nick. Sadly there are leadership roles in the RPV at committee levels (local and state) that are in fact rino’s, but they refuse to see themselves as such. Thankfully most have been revealed. We have a great deal of positive work to do in cleaning rinoism completely out of the RPV and coming genuinely together.
The essence of Republican in Name Only (RINO) is not supporting ALL of our nominees and electeds.
If you’re not with us, yer agin’ us. Let the Night of the Teaspoons begin.
Then you’re just not cut out for party politics.
We are here to win together, we compromise on candidates and we support them.
It’s not ‘only as Republican as I wanna be.’
Well, let’s look at the job description, shall we?
1. Kick the crap out of Tim Kaine.
2. Win an election that would be daunting for anyone.
3. Espouse, support and advance the President’s agenda.
Hmmmm. Nowhere does it say, “Date my sister.” Nope. Not once.
My good conscience dictates that I pursue the path most likely to achieve the principled RESULTS, not RHETORIC. And I believe that Corey is the man to do that. Indeed, if you do not agree, you need to formally withdraw and enlist in the Kaine Camp. Because you already have. The thing of good conscience would be to make it official.
This is the most ridiculous response I have seen in awhile. Your imagination about true Republicans beliefs is a laugh. You must be thinking of perhaps your fellow wanna be republicans or progressive/liberal republicans ??? Trump represents republicanism of the Signers and Founders, of this, there remains no question. Caving to the likes of the establishment republican system is more akin to the tyrants and kings of Europe. Which appears to be your cut of mold ?? Corey is the real deal to defend history and insist on smaller government, as does President Trump.
…..it would appear….you have things backwards……this is something which progressives are often inflicted with ??? I pray you will one day see the truth.
Bingo. EXACTLY right.
I would mention that in addition to Trump’s pushing the Congress to perform its Constitutional duties, his biggest contribution in this area, and one that will long endure, are his judicial appointments.
Stop whining. Start winning.
Excellent point. I forgot about judges.
SBT, lets get it on as my old friend used to say, the only disgrace is not getting back up.
Here, Here, John!
I think Trump’s only mistake is to believe that he could work with Republicans on Immigration. Trump should have held the tax cut over them for a immigration deal first but I do understand his desire to Jumpstart our economy with the cuts.
The past couple of day has proven to us who the reps are in it for themselves.
Trump is making America Great Again
# deport the swamp
