We all lose with the bullying from the left.

I find myself oddly in agreement with Meryl Streep when last night she said, “When the powerful use their position to bully others, we all lose”, but perhaps in ways she might not have anticipated.

When powerful Democrats use their position to bully members of the electoral college into violating their sworn oaths to vote according to election results of their state, we all lose.

When the powerful use their position to threaten the jobs and livelihood of anybody who dares to connect the increased level of violence in America with the influx of people from majority-Muslim countries, we all lose.

When powerful Democrats use their position to bully Christians who dare to say that marriage is the union of one man and one woman, we all lose.

When powerful Democrats use their position to bully Christians who speak out against men, who on a whim, declare themselves to be women so they can use the women’s locker room at the local gym or recreation center, we all lose.

When powerful college professors use their position to bully Christian students who dare to disagree with their pro-left agenda, we all lose.

When powerful politicians use their position to bully anybody who dares to cite scientific evidence that shows that living an advanced, safe, comfortable lifestyle does not cause global warming by threatening to sue them under the federal RICO statutes, we all lose.

When powerful news reporters use their position to bully a pizza shop owner who answers a THEORETICAL question about catering a gay wedding and then nearly shut down, we all lose.

Yes, the left are bullies and we hope they will be stopped with the new administration.

Tiresome when bully GOP whine about being bullied just because they get called out for their bully behavior. Why do you expect that the rest of the world worships you and other GOP bullies?

    • Rocinante

Methinks the SD doth protest too much.

You did read the essay, are somewhat politically aware and you still think the GOP are the greater bully? Why even attempt to participate in comments?

      • SD

having lived many decades, I do think the GOP is not the victim but the attacker. Civil liberties like protesting and the GOP do not go well together. Just look at Trump trying to shut down anyone who challenges him.

You have lived too long if you think that political correctness isn’t the worst kind of bullying. Whenever confronted, your ilk has only one response – the basket of deplorables. Much easier than actually thinking and reasoning.

what is wrong with being polite – it is a shame when your only defense for picking on people is that you are taking a stance against being politically correct- why on earth would you think that gives you the right to bully and pick on people?

        • Children Of The Revolution

Yeah, because all those red staters working on farms, in factories, driving tractor trailers, etc, are really in a position to bully all the urban office workers of San Francisco, New York, Atlanta, etc.

SD, you may not know that what you’re spouting is BS, you may truly believe you are on the side of angels because Democrats go on about equality, justice, etc, but you need to wake TF up and smell the hypocrisy.

Bullying pizza shop owners, florists, bakers and other conservative Americans seemed overly egregious to those of us who don’t embrace extreme lifestyles.

The greatest bullying involves “fake” news to indoctrinate the citizenry.

John McCain has turned over to the FBI a 35-page dossier compiled by
British intelligence services on the Trump-Russia-Putin connection.
Someone — probably on McCain staff — leaked the 35-page document —
    here it is:

My favorite part is about Trump engaging in “sex parties” in Moscow and St. Petersburg hotels with Russian hookers . . .

    Here’s a quote:

    — quote

According to several knowledgeable sources, his (Trump’s) conduct in
Moscow has included perverted sexual acts which have been
    arranged/monitored by the FSB.”

(NOTE: FSB is Russian foreign intelligence service.)

    — end quote

    — and here’s a REALLY good quote, page 2, paragraph 3

there were other aspects to Trump’s engagement with the Russian
authorities which had borne fruit for them was to exploit Trump’s
personal obsessions and sexual perversion in order to obtain suitable
“kompromat” (compromising material) on him. According to Source D,
where s/he had been present, Trump’s (perverted) conduct in Moscow
including the Presidential suite of the Ritz Carlton Hotel, where he
knew President and Mrs. Obama (whom he hated) had stayed on one of their
official trips to Russia, and defiling the bed where they had slept by
employing a number of prostitutes to perform a “golden showers”
(urination) show in front of him. The hotel was known to be under FSB
control with microphones and concealed cameras in all the main rooms to
    record anything they wanted to.

    — end quote

And it gets better and better.

Your boy trump needs to resign now and save us the trouble of impeaching him.

    • Children Of The Revolution

Which has everything to do with the topic of this thread because as everyone knows Meryl Streep once played a character named Lillian in the 1977 movie “Julia”, and that character once WENT to Russia, so of course we need to cut and paste random *&^% about Russia into this thread.
