A recent poll in the 10th district shows Barbara Comstock with a commanding lead over John Foust, 51% to 35%. A poll earlier this month showed Comstock up 46% to 34% and the left leaning Democrat House PAC showed Comstock leading 41% to 39%.[read_more]
Last week at a League of Women’s Voters forum independent candidate Brad Eickholt called on John Foust to withdraw from the race and endorse him,
“But today I have a solution to solve that problem. Today, I’m asking John Foust to withdraw from this race and give us his endorsement,” Eickholt said…..
“I am asking because I believe that even he believes in our message,” he said. “I am asking because I think he has the vision and the foresight to understand that there’s an independent movement moving in this nation and by this act he can nurture this spark into a full blown ranging fire”. (sic)
Libertarian candidate William Redpath did not join Eickholt in asking Foust to withdraw,
“A wise man told me it’s foolish to ask a person to do something they’re not willing to do themselves,” Redpath said.
Surprisingly John Foust did not ignore Mr. Eickholt request to withdraw but responded with this,
“I am not going to withdraw, but I do recognize and appreciate the candidates in this race. I’m glad we have as many candidates as we do.”

Apparently, Foust is now taking money out of ads that his campaign already reserved. It sounds like the bell may very well be tolling. (Will the forecasters move VA-10 from “Leans Republican” to “Likely Republican” in their next update?)
What poll shows these numbers? Are you inventing facts again or do you have an actual source?

Oh yeah, “I can cause accidents to happen too.” We sure are having strange October Surprises in this Midterm Election.
