Big Tent Party

written by Guest Contributor Joanne Poplar August 5, 2026

Every day, Americans are bombarded with headlines about elected officials and political candidates embracing policies that expand government control while dismissing the concerns of the very taxpayers who fund their salaries. Public office is a position of trust, not a platform for ideological experiments that many constituents never asked for.

Our nation was founded on the principles of individual liberty, limited government, fiscal responsibility, and the rule of law. Yet too many public officials seem more interested in advancing political agendas than preserving those foundational values. Promising endless government spending without regard for its long-term consequences is not leadership—it is a recipe for deeper debt and greater dependence on government.

Equally troubling is the growing willingness of some candidates to use rhetoric that is antisemitic as well as fuels hostility toward Jewish communities. There is no place for hatred or the demonization of any religious or ethnic group in American politics. Anyone seeking public office should be held to a higher standard of decency and respect.

Deeply concerning are the calls to eliminate immigration enforcement and law enforcement. Every sovereign nation has both the right and the responsibility to secure its borders and enforce its laws. Reform is always open for debate, but abandoning enforcement altogether undermines public safety, national security, and confidence in our institutions.

The organization now known as the Democratic Socialists of America presents itself as a democratic movement. Still, its policies and rhetoric reflect principles that are more aligned with communism than with our nation’s Constitution. The DSA proposals echo Marxist ideology, just dressed up in modern political and economic issues.

Americans deserve elected representatives who place the interests of their constituents above the “Big Tent” destructive ideology, who faithfully uphold the Constitution, who reject hatred and political violence in all its forms, and who recognize that individual liberty, national security, equal justice under the law, and personal responsibility are the enduring foundations of a strong and prosperous republic.

The future of our country depends not on destructive nonsensical rhetoric, but on principled leadership that serves all Americans—not just the loudest political factions.

The Senate race in Michigan is exactly that: An election for one seat in one state.

The Michigan race is related to the state of Michigan only. For example, it does not add or subtract from Mark Warner’s race in Virginia. They are different, as are all the other state races. The voters in those states will choose who they want to be their US Senator.

So butt out.

Marxism has been eroding America from the inside out for 100 years, quietly usurping many once-great institutions. Marxists have now taken over one of our two political parties. Electoral choices have never been more different, and the consequences of elections have never been more radical. Vote like your liberty depends on it.

Quote from Senator Tuberville, who is officially the dumbest person to ever serve in the US Senate.
QUOTE
Michigan Democrats just voted to send a TERRORIST to the Senate.

Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed is a RADICAL ISLAMIST who will do everything he can to destroy America.
QUOTE

PUKE

El-Sayed was born in Detroit to Egyptian immigrant parents. He is a Rhodes scholar with two doctorates who became Detroit’s youngest ever health director at age 30 before going to Columbia University to teach epidemiology.

Tuberville is a failed college football coach who was fired by four (or was it five?) colleges.

We have to remember these are the people that opened the border and let in millions of illegals.
They welcomed all of them into their tent and continue to protect them.
I believe they are attempting to collapse the country.
Democrat sanctuary jurisdictions choose which laws they will enforce and the choose which crimes they will prosecute.
This sure seems like subversion and sedition to me.
With that as a baseline, these people do not care or what you are, just as long as you vote for them.
