Previously, The Prince William county electoral board voted two to one against granting a primary to Chairman Stewart, Sheriff Glenn Hill, and Supervisors Marty Nohe and Maureen Caddigan. Chairman Stewart believes the vote by the electoral board was partisan:
“Well, I’d like to think that there wasn’t any foul play, but it certainly looks fishy,” he said.
