Virginia Commonwealth Transportation Board approves Governor’s Plan for I-66 tolls.  The tolls would go into effect in January 2017. Loudoun commuters would pay over $30 a day in tolls to get into DC. Senator Jennifer Wexton (D-33rd) was the only Democrat on the board to vote against the plan. Details here and here.Â

Cars are evil and despoil the enviromate. Besides, people who drive – or even worse, own cars – are hateful, exploitive, robber barens. They SHOULD happily pay the GUILT tax! /sarc
