House Republican Caucus Chair Elise Stefanik has rolled out her first round of EPAC endorsements for 2022, including two women running for Congress in Virginia. They are Jen Kiggans running in Virginia’s 2nd district and Jeanine Lawson in Virginia’s 10th district.
Stefanik (R-NY) also named 12 “Women to Watch” which means they may be endorsed by EPAC at a later date. What list includes Taylor Keeney in Virginia’s 7th district.
Chairwoman Elise Stefanik said the following about her choice to represent Virginia’s 10th district:
“Jeanine Lawson is a tested, proven conservative who has shown she can win, even in deep blue Northern Virginia. On the Board of Supervisors, Jeanine has stuck to our conservative values, and in Congress, she will do the same. She’s ready to take on Nancy Pelosi’s Far-Left agenda, oppose higher taxes, stand up for parents, and defend our police. Jeanine is ready to defeat the Democrats next November. And that is why I am proud to endorse Jeanine Lawson for Congress today.”
Lawson responded:
“I am honored to have earned Congresswoman Elise Stefanik’s endorsement today. I look forward to joining the 18 E-PAC-endorsed women in Congress who greatly benefited from the Chairwoman’s support in their 2020 races. And with this year’s First Slate,
We will be Majority Makers next year.”
