Former Senate candidate Ed Gillespie formally kicks off his campaign in January but he has already assembled his team which includes a full-time policy team and three regional field directors.
“We are building a statewide campaign from the very beginning, assembling a strong team of young and talented professionals who are committed to the principles and policies that I will campaign on in 2017,” said Gillespie. “While we will continue to scale up as the campaign moves forward, I am excited to announce the team we’ve built so far. Over the next several weeks, together we will continue to lay the groundwork for a substantive campaign that offers a positive vision for our Commonwealth’s future, a real plan to get us growing again and engages a broad and diverse coalition of Virginians.”
Gillespie’s team:
Chris Leavitt, Campaign Manager
Generra Peck, Policy Director
Matt Moran, Communications Director
Eric Wilson, Digital Director
Paige Hahn, Finance Director
Hooff Cooksey, Political Director

Corey Scott, Southwest Field Director
Charlie Greener, Northern Virginia Field Director
Dustin Rinehart, Hampton Roads Field Director
Cooper Godfrey, Deputy Policy Director

Does anyone know how to contact ed’s campaign, can’t find an email anywhere. Wanted to feed him some inside information on his not so ethical opponent Corey Stewart.. eww just saying his name makes me feel slimy.
Gillespie, the epitome of the establishment.
Drain the swamp.
Corey Stewart for Governor.
Please, Virginia Republicans, DON’T elect Ed ‘TARP’ Gillespie next March in our GOP primary! A former lobbyist, Gillespie IS the epitome of the Establishment big business career politician. Gads, America just elected Donald Trump to #DrainTheSwamp in D.C. and Enron Ed helped make that big business & big government corrupt mess! Hello? Remember TARP – the bank bail-out a.k.a. the too-big-to-fail so government got in bed with big business?! It’s one of George Bush’s worse legacies, AND the final straw for many Americans fed up with government’s huge growth. In a sense TARP helped give birth to the Tea Party. I’m amazed so many Tea Party folks have forgotten about TARP.
Here’s some reminders – http://reason.com/archives/2014/10/03/the-birth-of-the-tea-party-movement-bega . http://www.politifact.com/oregon/statements/2010/oct/18/kurt-schrader/kurt-schrader-says-more-republicans-democrats-vote/ http://www.wsj.com/articles/SB122270285663785991
And there’s Gillespie’s former support of RomneyCare, single-payer health care – http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/article/1216396 . And Gillespie’s former support of amnesty – http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2014/01/10/report-ed-gillespie-s-lobbying-past-support-for-amnesty-may-hurt-him-in-va-senate-bid/ & http://dailycaller.com/2013/04/01/gop-operatives-design-immigration-survey-support-amnesty/ .
Gillespie hopes we forget all about that. He has put on the mantle of a born-again Conservative; don’t be fooled. Are we really going to make him our nominee because he’s amassed a large war-chest and it’s “his turn”?!
That would be a dream come true for the Democrats. The Democrat Party must be hoping Ed Gillespie will be our nominee: he’ll be easy to beat.
I won’t be voting for Gillespie, sorry
Really hope somebody else wins the primary. ANYBODY else.
I have no interest in voting for Gillespie.
