12:51 WE WON! WE WON! WE WON! For the first time ever I voted for 4 winners! It’s morning in Virginia! Such a happy day!
12:31 It looks like the House of Delegates will be evenly split 50-50 but a couple of races are so close, that could change.
11:20 Republicans are within one seat of taking the House of Delegates. Ben Tribbett’s projection for the House of Delegates:
47 DEM (-5)
50 GOP (+5)
3 Seats to call
9:20 Update, with Youngkin ahead 55% to 45% , and the other two statewide offices about the same, it’s looking very good, but we don’t have enough of Fairfax results in. It’s going to be hard, but Democrats could catch up depending on how many votes Fairfax ‘finds’. Ben Tribbet (not Larry Sabato) is projecting a win for all three of our statewide candidates. Check all election esults here.
The turnout is strong today, particularly in Republican areas.
In 2020 Loudoun county had 65,000 votes on election day. Today we had 80,000 votes as of 4:00 pm.
My Republican precinct in Lovettsville has been very busy all day. At times all parking spaces were filled and it’s a big lot!

Two counties to watch when votes come in, Northhampton, and Prince Edward. Those are Bellwether counties, as they go so goes Virginia.
Thanks! Stay tuned for election results!
