As the final days wind down before the Republican Primary tomorrow Eric Cantor is now trying to strike fear in the hearts of Republicans by falsely claiming that Dave Brat is encouraging Democrats to vote in the Republican Primary tomorrow, which is completely false. The irony is that Eric Cantor will be to blame for any Democrat votes tomorrow.
Dave Brat has been outspent 25 to 1. Eric Cantor has used millions of dollars to push a completely false narrative through mail, TV, and radio that Dave Brat is a “liberal college professor” who worked for Democrat Governor Tim Kaine. Now he is discovering that his lies might be coming back to bite him. Why?
Well, the Democrats did not have a candidate to run against Eric Cantor in November, until their last-minute decision this week. After millions in TV advertising from Eric Cantor bemoaning his “liberal” challenger who is aligned with Tim Kaine, Democrats now think their best shot is to vote in the Republican Primary tomorrow to upset Eric Cantor, because they believe the lies being propagated by Cantor.
The irony is that Dave Brat is the tea party favorite because of his focus on reducing the debt, cutting the spending and eliminating the pervasive corporate cronyism that has corrupted our Party. He understands the importance of reforming entitlements and repealing Obamacare. He is pro-life, pro-2nd amendment and pro-rule of law. Brat believes that less power should be concentrated in Washington DC and more power should be concentrated with YOU.
Glenn Beck expressed his strong support of Dave Brat on his radio show today. Brat also has the support of Laura Ingraham, Ann Coulter, Doc Thompson, Mark Levin.
Polls that are almost two weeks old show that Cantor has somewhere between 52-62% of the vote. Brat has a good chance of pulling an upset tomorrow given the momentum that is on his side, despite being outspent by millions. We will know tomorrow how much Brat has managed to close the gap, but anything under 60% for Cantor tomorrow will be a significant blow for a Majority Leader who is used to getting 80% of the vote…especially when you have outspent your opponent by millions.
p.s. Ray Allen, you do not have permission to use any portion of this post to push a lie via email or phone.

Is this the groundwork to possibly place the outcome of blame on democrats.
All ot takes for some Republicans to cry foul is one issue of disagreement, a unsuspected turnout, or even in a local party turnout and the tears start.
Similar to VCU students on the interstate.
Lame at the CRAP mass meeting and let now.
Cantor won’t have President Trump’s ear now when lobbying , so no job let’s
be a Representative.
I would expect that Congressman Brat knows much more of the adverse economic impact of employee misclassification
[…] What’s even more ridiculous is where Allen says, “There’s just no way to anticipate something like that,” when in fact it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that falsely calling your opponent in an OPEN primary a liberal Democrat is a sure-fire way to invite liberal Democrats to support him. […]
[…] a resounding 11 point victory, but they certainly contributed to the numbers. The irony is that Ray Allen created that monster. Ray Allen spent $5 million telling Democrats why they should come out and vote for Dave Brat by […]
So this is rushes Operation Chas in reverse…looks like those democrats did not vote for cantor…
june 10 is the last day to file, so it is possible they could get the needed signatures.
My prayer is that righteousness will prevail, and that unrighteousness will not go unpunished.
Even Channel 8 is confused in the bright light of Ray Allen propaganda.
That is HYSTERICAL
The real Eric Cantor finally revealed – LOL!
some Dems I know in Cfield will vote for Brat tomorrow. The Dems want to take down Cantor any way they can
I am not seeing any independent news source besides Bearing Drift that is reporting that the Democrats have chosen a candidate… can they even now since they cancelled their convention? or is this a last minute dirty trick on the part of Cantor?
Not seeing any news of that here either. Where that story came from is probably a story in and of itself.
here is the source:

Norman Leahy of BD informed me that for the State Board of Elections, the deadline for party candidates nominated by a method other than a primary (which supposedly the Democrats did) to file their papers is 7 PM, June 10th Here’s the link he provided, go to page 15: http://www.sbe.virginia.gov/Fi….
Thanks, Mr Wood… I guess we will see if Trammell’s name is on the list come tomorrow:-)
This is truly RICH in every sense on the word!
oh, what tangled webs we weave…
I would check the rumor from Bearing Drift again. I clicked on the link that they have to the RTD report of a Dem candidate and it says page not found.
Perhaps they released the announcement too early.
maybe so, but you think it would be somewhere else if it has been announced
Dems 7th district website is not showing any news of it, which seems rather odd.
I was also puzzled by this and could find no other reliable source confirming the BD blog announcement. Since no Democrat had submitted by the March 27 filing deadline I’m very unclear how this could be true. I seem to recall that Independents can file as late as this week but other then this remote possibility this appears very agenda driven. I did ask BD to please confirm, no response to date.
Did you see the piece in the WP by Leahy and Goldman? They are worried that democrats will cross over! This is too funny! Cantor spent two million dollars telling everyone that Brat was a liberal. Now they’re concerned about cross over votes. The mind reels!
