You guys cheer up Gillispie.
He is a white collar softie , a Chamber of Commerce puppet in the working man eyes.
Remember the Perriello adds here in the 5th?
Virgil Goode went to Washington with a unsponored race car , he came back at this point the add has Perriello placing corporate decals all over it.
Then can he survive Enron Ed?
Seriously folks,
Does anyone know who is the point of contact in the Lynchburg area for Stewart ?
Name ?
E mail ?
Thanks
I’m sure the campaign would be happy to help you find out.

Thanks for your help.
I looked on Eddy’s page NO PLAN on dealing with illegal aliens.
How can one create an environment for job creation when you first do not deal with illegal employment?
The McAuliffe way remain silent on Plant closing Teva Pharmaceutical (technical ) , take a photo op at a box , container plant (unskilled) in Botetourt County.
Eddy would play the net numbers game also.
When an elected official Flys by the Seat of his pants , it is his constituents who get their skined up when they land. I am tired of those kind of Republicans.
Going to be tough for Stewart in Lynchburg , George C. is in the tank for Enron Ed.
The TEA party is an extension of the local Corporate Republicans.
I believe the Clinton/McAuliffe/Kaine machine has recruited Perriello to run for the democrats. I think he will win the nomination, mostly because that is who they have chosen to be the nominee. Although he has been endorsed by Bernie Sanders, I believe he will, sadly, be a formidable opponent. The machine will do all it can with all the tools it has to push him to the Governor’s Mansion. It’s really important that Virginians recognize what is truly at stake in November. With Herring in the AG’s office, fundamental transformation of Virginia could be around the corner. We’re already halfway down the path to becoming Connecticut.
Please, help me realize just what “is truly at stake” in November?
1) If elected, will the Democrats try to pass legislation to build 10’s of thousands of s–t houses for Virginia’s growing transvestite population? Or, how about we compromise? Instead of men’s and women’s restrooms, let’s have Republican and Democrat restrooms? Put a man with a gun picture on the Republican restroom door, and put a picture of a man in a skirt on the Democrat restroom door. What do you say Ann?
2) Will Enron Ed vow to crack down on Virginia doing business with Communist China where 23,000,000 abortions are performed annually? Or, will Enron Ed rack up frequent flyer miles kissing China’s ass?
http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/penny-starr/state-dept-human-rights-report-estimated-23-million-abortions-china-last
3) Will Enron Ed vow to veto any bill increasing state money to higher education schools? Or, will Enron Ed attempt to make it a felony for anybody to report how overpaid professors and administrators at state schools really are?
4) Or, will the power company continue to run Virginia no matter who is elected?
Just what is at stake?
more debt, more leftist policies. virginia is in the bottom 10 states for job creation and economic growth. I saw Gillespie with Nicki Haley before she headed to the UN. Nicki said that South Carolina used to compete with Virginia for companies and start-up’s. No more. I don’t care about social issues, as I don’t believe the government should deal with those, as long as people don’t hurt anyone. They are just distractions so that our “unaware and compliant citizenry” (Podesta email) vote unknowingly for democrats.
I am sure I have copies of the emails sent to my Republican reps going back at least 7-8 years complaining of Virginia’s poor performance when it comes to bringing good jobs to Virginia. They just don’t give a rip and that ain’t going to change.
You see, when good jobs for the middle-class are created, donors to the Democrat party are also created. Wipe out the middle-class and you also put one hell of a dent in donors to the Democrats.
I believe that capitalism is the only system in the world that enables the sustenance of a middle class. It is the engine of our economy – small businesses, entrepreneurship. Current business regulations are killing them right now. The ACA is killing them right now. Banking regulations are killing them right now. It was the middle class that elected Donald Trump because they are not as stupid as the democrats would like to think. We didn’t buy the transgender-bathroom-free-health-care-free-birth-control-republicans-are-fascists distractions this time around. The progressive agenda is all about eliminating the middle class because they’re all about more socialism and federal control. The federal government involved in financial aid system for colleges has caused their prices to skyrocket and there obviously are strings attached when we see odd, in unison activities on campuses. When there are 2 sources of guaranteed income for universities – those on financial aide and the wealthy who don’t care what it costs, the middle class – once again – is out of the mix. All by design. The middle class shrunk under Obama, and they didn’t get richer. Unfortunately, for Virginia, we are saddled with the area that surrounds Washington DC. 10 of the 12 wealthiest counties in the country surround the swamp. They are directly or indirectly supported by that swamp. It’s an anchor we might not survive.
Straw polls?
They are polls of the insiders not the general public.
The general public has abandoned the land line , the phone book , we don’t give out cell numbers on public forms or applications.
Straw polls or scarecrow candidates.
This is the season of death and resurrection.
Jesus died for our sins.
And History has repeated itself once again ;
A young man was killed due to the sins of complicity be our elected Republicans.
People who vote in straw polls are the people who will show up to vote in a primary.
Vote in a primary and you are ID’ed. That info should not be kept.
Yes , You are 100%.correct.
Percentages are misleading though. For instance the 74% fast eddy has in Giles County is not based on the turnout for the primary or in the Gubernatorial. That tells me Corey Stewart must remind the people of Giles County of the Abduction at Va. Tech June 2012 by the convicted
Arlex-Cardenas-Flores and how this young lady was dragged to the truck screaming.
Never the less Ms.Martin no matter which R gets the nomination, if he were lucky enough to win in November he won’t be able to do anything about illegal immigration growth in Va. because I can employ all the illegal aliens and MS-13 Members that I want ,write them checks issue a 1099 to their aliases or whatever. We don’t file a copy with the Commonwealth. If I don’t have a VEC account , no worry , no audit.
Ms. Martin these men are full of it , they will do nothing without force or a financial gain.
Corey Stewart for Governor

#Terminate MS-13
The people who voted in straw polls are those who would show up for a convention. Straw polls tend to smell like horse turds to the average primary voter.
She doesn’t get that and likely never will, not much of a touch with the “common” folks. Insider straw polls mean little more then whatever the vote count is that composes them, 200 – 300 max, in this case and that is likely a gross overestimation on my part. That they leverage anything beyond that is a fantasy in today’s Virginia Republican Party and it’s base votier relationships. This type of assumption logic sort of comes down to an unstated belief concept – if your betters all agree you are clearly a defective not to follow their lead. It’s one of the main reasons their world is all falling apart at their feet.
Jeanine, I haven’t had time to vote in any straw polls. I keep coming home from work to answering machine messages for push polls that I’ve missed. I will be voting for Corey on June 13th.
I’m sensing a pattern.
It is hard to fathom why anyone would support a pos who uses a mans fidelity as a campaign tactic. Evidence says the Vogels were part of the smear yet she wins straw polls. Just shows that we are likely to promote our mistakes.
“Evidence shows.”
No it doesn’t or Reeves would have been in court back in January when he first started with this foolishness.
The grassroots are speaking and they don’t like Reeves. Vogel won huge in Giles and Bland too.
So you consider the phone non evidence of skullduggery?
Agree….she didn’t need to do that either. I believe the action will be used against her – and successfully – if she wins the nomination. What a waste of a promising candidate.
Where are all the Corey Stewart shills?
I went back and looked briefly at the numerous pro Gillespie comments you have written on this blog in the past few months and couldn’t find a single example of where your perfectly valid choice to openly champion Ed Gillespie for Governor resulted in anyone labeling you a “shill”. I saw lots of open disagreement with your choice but no resort to pejoratives.
But apparently you can not call up the necessary class to reciprocate to those that do not support your candidates election the same respect. I personally find that type of behavior among Gillespie advocates far more telling then any genned up local party straw poll and trust me on this one so do many other non activist Virginia base Republican primary voters.
Given the fact that several Corey Stewart supporters have called anyone who supports Gillespie on here “shill”. And they were being quite mouthy and in your face about their man…
If that is your rational, sounds a little schoolyard to me but whatever.
They who sow the wind shall reap the whirlwind
Don’t have a clue what you are talking about and I beginning to come of the opinion neither do you.
Let’s try it this way. Corey Stewart shills who have lived on social media are being very quiet, after trying to silence Gillespie supporters such as myself. So if you or anyone else has a problem with my asking why they are so quiet – not sure what to tell you.
Yes the pattern which has always been there since day one in this primary and that is the state’s party establishment is in total and complete support of the Gillespie candidacy. Nothing new there for the Richmond candidate. So if you consider that something new you haven’t been paying much attention for the past decade in my opinion. What these party based “straw polls” don’t tell you is how and where the voting base is in an open primary and where they are currently leaning.
With significant undecided categories ranging from 38 – 50 percentage points still in place after months of Gillespie campaigning if I were him I don’t think I would be celebrating unless he has some inside campaign polling information that this gigantic glob of “undecideds” are actually shy Gillespie voters. You are certainly one thing and that is true to form on your inability to distinguish the party activists and (their one vote each) from the actual Virginia voting with their millions of votes yet to be cast.
You mean the pattern where the winner of the polls actually loses in November? Just like Romney and Hillary won the polls but lost?
Huh? http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/us/general_election_romney_vs_obama-1171.html
What? Ras. and Gallop both had Romney winning, plus 2 others were tied. But the biggie was Limbaugh was calling Romney winning.
The lobbyist was anointed by the RPV a long time ago.
Frankly the primary is a massive waste of time, as is voting in it.
