Earlier this week (the week of June 10th), the Strasburg Town Council, with me taking the initiative and a lot of help from my fellow Councilwoman Emily Reynolds wrote a Proclamation honoring and recognizing Juneteenth, the day which those persons in bondage were freed from their chains.
Having helped write this Proclamation was one of the most humbling moments of my professional life. But it also made me realize just how far we have come as a nation. How many changes we have made in the past few decades alone. It also reminded me how the forces which want to rule over us need to be removed from every place where they are in charge.
My father came to this country in 1962. He spoke not a word of English, and wanted 2 things in this world. 1 was to learn our language. The other was for everyone to get out of his way and to let him succeed to the best of his own ability. This was very difficult at first, as back in the 1960’s, there were signs out in front of local businesses in Arlington Virginia that were hiring which would say “Now hiring, only whites need apply”. Or similar language. My dad could not get a job because no one wanted to hire a foreigner that had such a different name. Dad didn’t come here 1st class, he flew here on a cargo plane.
I went to 2 schools which were forced to close in the 1970’s – both because they violated federal law because they refused to allow black kids to attend. Quite frankly, these schools probably would have banned me from attending, if it wasn’t for the fact that my mother enrolled me, and she is white.
Look at where we are now. People of all colors and ethnicities can and are participating in the political process. I don’t agree with a single thing that President Obama stood for, but we did elect an African American as President in 2008 and again in 2012. My dad is proof positive that America works. He went from not being hired, to starting his own automobile repair shop, and then starting his own fleet of taxicabs, which became the 2nd largest fleet of taxicabs in Virginia. Proof that if you work hard and can work with other people, every person in this country can succeed to the best of their ability. My father, along with many business owners – does everything he can do to promote minorities from within. And he does this because this is the promise of America – and something which gives most business owners a feeling of satisfaction, to see someone who has promise but needs help succeed. The ruling class of Arlington Virginia – yes liberal Arlington Virginia – used to call my father a dumb foreigner back in the 70’s and early 80’s. Dad was smart about it, and I learned a lesson from him. He taught me to play the long game – to fight back on our own terms – and not theirs.
Martin Luther King campaigned on, and gave his life for, a country which did not judge by race, but would judge based on the content of a man’s (or woman’s) character. The Statewide Republican Ticket of 2021, with Glenn Youngkin, Winsome Sears, and Jason Miyares, shows that the GOP, the party which freed the slaves, is the most open to all ethnicities in Virginia. Most importantly, people like my father, Jason Miyares, Winsome Sears, Puneet Aliuwalia, Chuck Smith, Jack White and too many others to name succeeded not because of government handouts – they succeeded because in this country, hard work and persistence pays off.
You can clearly see we’ve come a long way from 1962.
However this clear progress does not appease the modern left, which does not want racial unity but instead is trying to teach us that all whites are naturally racist and thus to blame for all indignities of the world. Racial supremacists are trying to divide us into groups based on the color of our skin, and white elitist liberals are profiting off of this division.
Racism is a deep personal issue to me.
I graduated from McLean HS in 1982. And back in my time (1978-1982) it was fashionable for the ruling class of McLean High to refer to me as a dumb foreigner and other terms too grotesque to mention. I am a Christian man, and I forgive these people for what they said about me. But it should be said that several of my classmates are now Democratic activists, and those same people who used to call me these and other names are now the same people who will tell anyone who does not support Critical Race Theory or other left wing lunatic ideas they are racists and bigots. As you can see, this ruling class has not really changed.
But contrary to what some may think, they are few and far between. They are influencers yes, but their numbers are way less than ours. The graduating class of 1982 in McLean HS had approximately 373 people in it. Of those 373, maybe 50, or 13% of our class, was a bigot. But they knew how to manipulate others into cowing into submission. They do so today. They control much of our media. Too many Republicans and independents listen to the left wing media and actually believe that it is non-partisan. This sounds crazy to us, but they’ve been brainwashed into thinking this.
That ruling class would just torture anyone who didn’t kowtow to them, and thus they kept control of the Class of 1982. They do this now through their propaganda arms aka CNN/ABC/NBC/NY Times/Washington Post etc. Their numbers are small in comparison to ours, but too many of us see them and are afraid. If a pretty gal in the Class of 1982 stood up to the ruling class, they’d label her as a slut. I got bullied in large part because one member of the HS ruling class was picking on a special needs kid, and I stood up to that punk. This is what ruling classes do – they hold power for the sake of their own prestige. And abuse others who call them out on their hypocrisy. They do so now in Washington DC and in each State Capitol.
This is what is so dangerous about the cancel culture. The left wingers and ruling class know they are in the minority, but feel they can bluff their way to permanent power. The left and this ruling class must be suppressed for the good of our country and our future.
Are there racists in this country? The answer is yes. Racism will be a problem in human society as long as humans are on this Earth. Is racism the largest problem in our society? The answer is no. The largest problem in our society is the out of touch group of social influencers is trying to destroy the fabric of our nation and turn us against each other for their own profit. And by and large, the biggest racists are part of the ruling class of any society.
They start the brainwashing in our schools, do so through the media – and it is up to us to put an end to their tyranny – for if we do not we will lose our Republic. They hated Donald Trump, because Trump was the one thing which stood between them and gaining total power. They weren’t really after Trump, the Establishment is really out to get us. Trump just stood in their way. Hence the need for all the voter fraud – the ruling class in Washington and those who feed off the government trough could not allow us to live our lives for ourselves – we’d not be paying their bills or for their extravagant lifestyles if they were out of power.
Fortunately it seems that the American population is waking up. Critical Race Theory and the other insane policies of the modern left are forcing parents and America as a whole to see what is happening, and to take our country back.
Do not feel ashamed if you’re white – you never owned a slave. No one alive today has lived in bondage, other than some who inhabit a prison in their own mind. Be proud of who you are, and work to where we need to go. We need to take back Virginia and to take back America. It will be hard work, but this work must be done. And it must be done now before it is too late.
I am bullish on our future. We all should be. When you see young patriots like Kyle Gutshall, Morgan McCown, Lance Allen, and so many others buck the system and stand up and say HELL NO WE WON’T TAKE IT ANYMORE – when I see youngsters like Bella Williams (age 9) standing out waving her Trump flag at rallies – I know all will be fine. It may take awhile, but we must persevere.
It starts with us, and it must end with us.
I remain
Your servant
