Using ATF information, this website ranks all 50 states by how many guns are registered in the state. Virginia ranks fifth,
For every 1,000 residents in Virginia, there are 30.1 guns. That’s a total of 248,939 registered firearms among 8,260,405 people.
Washington DC outranks Virginia, coming in at number 2, even though people in the District are not allowed to have guns. We all know how effective gun control laws are.
The District of Columbia comes in at number two in the nation, with 66.4 guns for every 1,000 residents. That’s 42,897 registered firearms dispersed among only 646,449 people.
Wyoming comes in number one for gun ownership in the US. See all rankings here.

This is amaz..wait, what ? Virginians don’t register their firearms.
These numbers don’t look right. This states that just 3% of the Virginia population has a gun. Generally speaking, the accepted rate is much higher than that.
It must be for concealed carry. I have a firearm and it wouldn’t show up on this because it hasn’t been registered.
The headline here makes it seems like all gun owners are part of the same group and would ever work toward a common goal. This is false on so many aspects.
We can never tell the future of America.
NO, Va. is not armed enough , rembember to self load , they are comming after your ammo. We innovative Americans will always overcome the political desire to disarm.
Remember the politicans could not stop moonshine , how will they disarm the local innovative machinst.
If you believe what you wrote, then your question “how will they disarm the local innovative machinist” actually points to your position that “they” cannot disarm anyone. Therefore, why are you so worried about something that cannot happen?
I don’t know I lost all my firarms when my canoe turned over , but I have lots of shovels.
No man with a US flag stiched on his shoulder will come a knokin for guns , it will be outsourced. Like Blackwater in New Orleans
Reload some more , never enough.
And Herring must go for that crap he pulled. That is very important.
