Almost twice as many people voted in the Virginia Democrat primary this year as they did in 2016. An astonishing 1,324,425 votes were cast on Tuesday. In 2016 785,190 voted in the Democrat primary.
Virginia was overwhelming Biden Blue. Virginia results from Vox.com:

The results mean both Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders will be proportionally awarded delegates to the Democrat national convention. The other candidates will receive no delegates from Virginia because they didn’t make the necessary 15% threshold.
