According to the Washington Post, Donald Trump is now leading Hillary Clinton 47% to 46% as 3rd Party enthusiasm begins its inevitable decline. Every time we make the mistake of counting Donald Trump out, he proves us wrong. There is absolutely no reason anyone, other than his loyal populist supporters, should have expected Donald Trump to win the Republican Nomination. There was even less of a reason to expect that he’d win the White House. Heading into the final week, Donald Trump is in the lead…again.
Now, this does not mean that Donald Trump is leading in all the States he needs to win. This is why Trump is in Pennsylvania today. Meanwhile, President Obama, Vice-President Biden and Secretary Clinton are campaigning in Ohio, North Carolina and Florida. These campaign strategies tell us everything we need to know about how these two camps feel about their chances. By election day, I believe that Donald Trump wins Florida, North Carolina and Ohio. The question is, can he win either Pennsylvania or Virginia?
Even with the Clinton Campaign in full panic mode and democrat voters feeling more discouraged than ever, Donald Trump is going to have to out perform the polls. To accomplish this, Donald Trump must win the turn out game – which means that needs his supporters to be more enthusiastic than Clinton’s supporters.
The tracking poll finds little shift in Clinton’s overall support following news of the FBI’s renewed look at Clinton e-mails, but strong enthusiasm among her supporters fell behind Trump in combined Saturday and Sunday interviews. By 53 to 43 percent, more Trump supporters say they are “very enthusiastic” about him, compared with Thursday and Friday when Trump’s edge was negligible (53 percent vs. 51 percent). -WPO
Enthusiasm is key and I’m beginning to believe.
I am beginning to believe that Hillary voters might stay home on November 8th. Wherever the Democrat Machine isn’t busing people to the polls, I think the Democrats could be in serious trouble.
We’ve counted Donald Trump out from the moment he announced. We said he wasn’t a serious candidate. We said he couldn’t win the nomination. We said he was the only candidate that couldn’t beat Hillary. Every time we dismiss this man and his hold on the American People, we are shocked and surprised by his victories.
2016 – The Cubs could win the World Series and Donald Trump, a billionaire playboy from Queens, New York could be the next President of the United States of America. For the True Believers, this isn’t news. For the rest of us, all we can do is watch in astonished bewilderment.

This sums it up nicely. You are either on the Trump train or you aren’t, there is no middle ground. And those that have been on it, have a bond and a connection that those that chose to not get on board will never have. There is no middle ground, just how it is.

I didn’t know that weasels would take on hyenas. Wow.
The speeches both Mike Pence AND Donald Trump gave today in Valley Forge, PA today were beyond excellent, policy based and highlighting the increase costs in Obamacare and jobs, jobs, jobs. A proud performance by both men.
Donald Trump Rally in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania
As a loyal conservative supporter of The Donald, I have been believing in his abilities from early on to include voting for him in the VA primary. Never thought he was the “perfect” candidate, but have always believed he would be the only person capable of going to DC and turning the tables over on both parties to get our country back on track to prosperity. This is a movement and the enthusiasm is certainly on his side! I can hardly wait for all of them celebrities to take up residence in other parts of the world! They will not be missed.

You weren’t wrong to be skeptical, but you were wrong to be so darn sure that Trump couldn’t win. In the United States we have two very sophisticated political machines that can make every election close. There were overwhelming odds that this one would be close too.
You may notice that I have never said Trump was going to win, and I still don’t claim he is going to win. However, I was always confident he had a very reasonable chance to win. It was easy pickings in the Iowa Electronic Markets when the odds for a Trump win dropped to 18%. (Markets, like all collective behavior, can be absolutely insane sometimes). With better than five to 1 odds, it was too tempting to pass that up, and I made a bet that has paid off with more than 100% gain so far. I can pocket that gain and play with house money from here on in. I still don’t know if he will win or not, but he is in a close race and he might even win it all.
Well, I wasn’t a true believer or vote for Trump in the primary but I’ll toot my own horn and say I called it right here on TBE and I’ll restate what I said months ago. Trump’s celebrity was a major draw. We political types tend to completely discount this and underestimate the power over the general electorate it has. Couple that with is billionaire status, blunt style, and political outsider and you had all the concomitants for a 2016 victory. After that, Mr. Wood and I had some back and forth over what an effective agent of change Trump would be even if he wasn’t personably likeable.
Glad y’all have finally caught up.
Now, there is still time to get on the Trump Train. All Aboooooard!
I feel someone has tied to the roof of the Trump Train. It isn’t comfortable. That said, you may be right about celebrity being more important than any of political junkies give it credit for. We’ve been wrong over and over again.
Riding tied to the roof. That’s funny. Apropos for many, I suppose.
Let’s consider it the Observation deck.
That’s accurate 🙂
Have you listened to any of Trump’s speeches. He has evolved from a celebrity billionaire to the voice of the American worker.
He has given some really good policy speeches. In particular, I recall his foreign policy speech. It was outstanding. He doesn’t get coverage for this, though. MSM doesn’t want the public to know he makes sense.
True, if all you remember about Trump is the crazy crap he was spewing a year ago, you’ll be less likely to vote for him. Many of his speeches over the last month have been very good.

And then you do that 🙁
Not my voice, but yeah, he’s talking sense most of the time now. He’s definitely changed a lot since the day he announced.
And I’d like to think that you helped with this!
LOL!
I, too, am starting to laugh out loud, especially at Hillary supporters who obviously prefer her corruption to a chance at a better American future. So we can both laugh out loud.
Hillary has really deflated the liberal movement in America. U think Democrat turn out could be as low as 50%. That would be YUGE for Trump and all the Republicans on the down ballot.
Liberalism thrives on corruption and perversion. Just go to some of the liberal websites and read.
I really should read their stuff more.
No brakes!!
Uh-huh. You are seeing a very momentary bump in the polls, which still results in Trump being behind in most. Next Tuesday Trump will lose, badly. Very badly. That’s fairly obvious. At that point the GOP, with its bare House majority and Senate minority can try to repair the damage.
That was what I was expecting, but the enthusiasm gap may shock the nation. We’ll see. It’ll be an interesting four years either way.

Is this a dead cat bounce?
Very good. Cat fainted upon hearing SBT saying that Trump might win…
Lol hey, I’m just pointing out the fact that low Dem turnout could be huge for Trump. It’s just a fact.
The movement of the oppressed working middle class is growing. By election day, the tsunami will overwhelm you socialist ideologues.
We shall see.
