After dragging their feet for three years, followed by several lawsuits, the IRS has finally listed the names of the 426 groups they targeted for extra scrutiny. Sixty groups had the word Tea in their name, 33 have the word Patriot, 26 groups use the word Liberty, 13 groups use 912 and 8 used the word Constitution.
Some of the groups are based in Virginia including: Hampton Roads Tea Party, Northern Shenandoah Tea Party, Greater Piedmont Tea Party, RVA Alliance Group, and I’m sure I’ve missed some on the list. Feel free to let me know which Virginia groups I have omitted.
