ISIS Targets Refugee Program to Infiltrate the U.S.

written by Mick Staton December 8, 2015

In an announcement that should surprise absolutely nobody, the House Committee on Homeland Security revealed that, “Intelligence officials have determined that Islamic extremists have explored using the refugee program to enter the United States.” Read about it here.  This is on top of the news that ISIS has already been trying to infiltrate America through our Southern border.

Let’s face it.  The security of our immigration system is a joke.  The San Bernardino shooters exploited the system with ease, and I am sure this was not the first time this scheme has been used by terrorists to bring people into the United States.  Now they are just waiting for Obama to open the refugee floodgates and provide another easy way to enter the U.S.

Maybe it is a failing of the left (and others) to underestimate the sophistication of these terrorists, but I feel like many of our so-called leaders aren’t taking this seriously.  It took the President 4 days to finally admit that this was an act of terrorism, and only because he was faced with incontrovertible evidence.  Of course, he then proceeds to scold the American people instead of explain how he is going to keep this country safe.

This most recent attack should be a wake up call that it is time to take our immigration problem in this country seriously.  Instead, everyone is trying to ignore the problem or change the topic, or call anyone that speaks out about this issue a racist.  After all, the left needs their dependent voters, and the corporate Republicans need their cheap labor.

Between the political correctness and the charges of ‘nativism’ from both the right and left come real consequences.  A neighbor of the shooters said she witnessed suspicious behavior for some time before the attacks.  According to this neighbor, “the couple received a constant flow of packages to their home and she saw people working in the couple’s garage all hours of the night. There was also an abundance of people coming in and out of the house.”  She didn’t report anything to the police, however, because “the fear of being accused of racial profiling kept her from speaking out.”

This house was an IED factory run by a “pharmacist” planted in this country by ISIS.  How many of these people going in and out of the house are now armed with explosives made by Tashfeen Malik?  How many other attacks are being planned that could have been stopped if not for the constant shaming of people concerned with the safety of their families and their country?

It’s time to stop the name calling and the attacks on patriotic Americans for simply daring to challenge the immigration status quo and get our immigration system under control before more innocent people are killed.
