Once again, great maps by Christian Heiens.  The first one shows Lt. Governor endorsements by House of Delegates districts, crimson is Bryce Reeves, blue is Jill Vogel and gold is Glenn Davis:
The map below shows state Senate districts that have endorsed Jill Vogel and Bryce Reeves, Jill’s Senate district has endorsed her and that district is in blue, Bryce’s Senate endorsements are in crimson:

But where is Jill’s BFF, Barbara Comstock with her legendary ability to raise cash aplenty? Mexican food, anyone?
Jill has successfully passed legislation to deport illegals, end in state tuition and gain search warrants for illegal alien criminals
Some of us have been keeping an eye on Vogel ever since she, members of her campaign staff, and Loudoun County’s Commonwealth Attorney James E. Plowman (R) (who was also a donor to Vogel’s campaign) framed her Republican primary challenger with felony criminal campaign charges so she could win the GOP’s 27th District Virginia Senate primary. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/10/15/AR2007101501460.html
Our suspicions weren’t unfounded — As it appears, Vogel is hell-bent on winning the Lieutenant Governor’s race, even if it means employing the same Chicago-style gutter politics against Bryce Reeves.
Sen. Vogel has shown her true colors as reported Jan. 20 by the Washington Post: “An attempt to block undocumented immigrant students from qualifying for in-state tuition at Virginia’s public colleges failed Tuesday in the state Senate on a narrow vote, a symbolic victory for Dream Act advocates.” http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/virginia-politics/anti-dream-act-bill-fails-in-virginia-senate/2015/01/20/363eee88-a0ce-11e4-9f89-561284a573f8_story.html
What readers won’t find in that article is this: Democrats defeated the bill 20-19, because Sen. Vogel decided not to vote. They say a person is known by the company they keep, and Vogel posing with Barbara Comstock in front of that Mexican food eatery was no coincidence – they’ve both have now officially voted with the best interests of undocumented illegal-aliens in mind, not U.S. citizens. Immediately after ex-House Speaker Boehner saddled America with Obama’s amnesty for illegal aliens, Barbara Comstock — even before she was sworn in for her first term in the U.S. House — voiced her support for Boehner’s reelection as Speaker, and did support him afterward. Without Comstock, here’s the list of House members who defended our Constitution, and voted against Boehner. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/01/06/boehner-moves-to-punish-dissenters-despite-past-statements/
Does that map mean that so far Jill has her only endorsement by a state senator is herself?
(Unless Martha objects of course.)
Still not putting any stock in endorsements — don’t think the endorsers have the juice to deliver anything beyond a photo-op.
The purpose of endorsements is so that if an undecided voter sees that someone they like is for one of the candidates, they are more likely to vote for that candidate.
Oh, like the Kardashians and social media.
Endorsements mean absolutely nothing! Ask Dave Brat. Just like Trump, almost every single elected official, party leaders, establishment types endorsed Cantor. Case closed!
Yes, Jill’s Senate district is the only senate district to endorse her.
Some of these ‘endorsements’ make me less inclined to vote for the person being endorsed. These politicians have done such a lousy job of keeping Virginia red, they needed a Senator to retire on strange circumstances just to take back that chamber. Their endorsements are a net negative to me.
Me too. Aside from a Rocinante endorsement, you just can’t trust anyone.
I suggest googling sockdologer, Horatio Bunce, Davy Crockett for how it’s supposed to work.
