According to his office, Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax passed two lie detector tests denying that he had sexually assaulted the two women who have accused him of the crimes.
The tests were administered on Friday by a retired FBI polygraph expert, Jeremiah Hanafin, who found the LG’s answers to be truthful when he said that he had not had nonconsensual sex with either of his accusers. Mr. Hanafin is the same expert who administered a lie detector test to Christine Blasey Ford, Justice Kavanaugh’s accuser.
LG Fairfax’s attorney Barry J. Pollack said in a statement Sunday,
All serious allegations deserve to be taken seriously, but not all allegations are true. The public has a right to know if serious allegations made against the Lt. Governor are true, but the public also has a right to know if they are false.
The test results were not released.
