Vice President Mike Pence was to appear at a private fundraiser for Ed Gillespie this weekend in Richmond.  The fundraiser was to follow the 11th annual Americans for Prosperity summit, “Defending the American Dream”, also in Richmond.  Ed Gillespie and VP Mike Pence were to be the keynote speakers at the summit.
Pence has now cancelled his plans to be in Richmond this weekend. Pence said he wanted to “open up his schedule” this weekend after returning from overseas.  He will be at Camp David on Friday.

I suspect you are correct. After the week we’ve had in Virginia, Gillespie wants distance between himself and Trump. Gillespie’s between a rock and hard place.

Pence has already backed Trump so why do you think this is particularly interesting. Are you suggesting Trump will quit even though his entire personal history suggests otherwise. Really, this coup attempt is getting far too obvious.

Well everyone is going to camp David tomorrow. They ain’t playing golf. The only note worty thing that would include afg would be either we are going in heavy, or we are leaving. No need to hide to discuss that. Naw, they are going to have a come to Jesus meeting or it’s going to be a last supper for someone.
Let’s be honest here. The Republican Congress has been a disaster and this is an opportunity to try to make some sense of the mess they made and to move forward constructively (if possible) in the future. If Trump were to resign, the result would be catastrophe for the Republican Party and the nation. Waiting in the wings is a clear alternative to the Republican Party and the Democrat Party as well – maybe the American Party. The people who voted for Trump are very angry at the Congress and Republican leaders in general. They are also utterly disgusted by the Democrats, the media and the entirety of global socialism’s impact on the USA. You want war in the streets, keep pushing and you will see it as is the case in Europe today.
I won’t be anywhere near a street a road or any other avenue. I’ve seen what happens when people turn that switch on and I don’t plan to be within a thousand Miles when that mind bomb goes off. It’s just a matter of time.
