FBI agents Peter Strzok and his mistress Lisa Page have been in the news for the thousands of emails they exchanged during their affair. Those emails criticized Trump as they tried to protect Hillary Clinton and her Presidential campaign. Strzok and Page were part of Robert Mueller’s investigative team that is desperately looking for a Trump crime. They hope to find Trump colluding with the Russians but nothing like that has been found. Never mind that, they’ll keep digging and wasting taxpayer’s money. We have proof through their emails that Strzok and Page hated Trump. How many others on the investigation also feel that way?
Today we learned Peter Strzok was upset that Senator Dick Black had beaten Jill McCabe, the wife of FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, in 2015 in Virginia’s 13th district state senate election. Strzok referred to Senator Black’s voters as “ignorant hillbillies”. Considering Strzok lives in Fairfax County one would think he would be aware of Loudoun’s status as the richest county in the nation, where 25% of adults have a graduate or professional degree. Doesn’t sound like a Hillbilly haven.
Strzok’s wife is Melissa Hodgman who has worked at the SEC since 2008 earning a salary of $229,968 The couple lives in a modest home in Fairfax near Pickett road. Melissa Hodgman:
Hodgman and Strzok both graduated from Georgetown University in 1990.
Strzok’s mistress Lisa Page is married to Joseph Burrow and they have young children. Joe Burrow on twitter here and his linkedin page here. Joe Burrow from creativemornings.com:
Rich, Washington swells, enjoying their fine wine and food, looking down their noses at the “ignorant hillbillies” in Loudoun County.
More here.
UPDATE: May 4th, Lisa Page, and James Baker resign from the FBI.

“earning a salary of $229,968”! All the SEC does is eliminated the competition for established lobbyists.
Time to get rid of the unelected unaccountable bureaucrats who create their own pay scales.
Actually time to ditch the “federal government” and restore the Articles of Confederation which suited us just fine.
Hell, Hodgman looks like Strozk’s TWIN sister!
An FBI agent banging another man’s wife and he too, is married. Has it been said that he is a real….man….a man who can be trusted….. a man whose duty is to uphold the law….or……a real POS?
She needs more time to get her story straight.
she / lisa page is not worthy of her husband or her children…..if he sticks by her she is lucky…he ..not so lucky…..unless she has some radical changes in her thinking, morality and behavior…she comes across as a narcissist with a foul mouth and not a thread or morality……the wayward woman to avoid…
“Lisa Page is married to Joseph Burrow and they have young children.”
I’m sure Lisa has children, but doubt Joseph does.
Lisa page is a pig, Whore. I hope her husband humiliates the sht out of her. What a disgrace .
The FBI is full of twats like Lisa Page that think they are tough.
Jeanine, I didn’t know that you were a Hillbilly? I knew that there was a reason that I liked you.
Whenever the news reports on these red-hot lovers’ texts, “Lara’s Theme” from Dr. Zhivago should play in the background…
The msm coverage is elevator music. Got to put the people to sleep by any means necessary. Obama the great and Hillary the wise must be protected.
Aaannnddd… Trump won’t release the Dems memo. Who’s surprised?? I’m not.
?????????
Not releasing the memo unminds what little credibility the Trump GOP has on this issue so what the heck keep it under raps for all I care.
Per the Gateway Pundit, Strxzok’s wife got a major promotion coincident with the Comey report on Hillary Clinton. In addition, she was a huge Hillary supporter and scrubbed her Facebook page when this scandal broke. There are a number of news reports on this.
I take extreme offense to “this couple” calling Loudoun County “Hillbillies”.
It is clear I am the Hillbilly. Some of my stomping grounds were Dugsbur , Coonridge, Sylvatas, Cana. Clearly she is not good at finding Hillbillies.
Where was she born?
Just read a Daily Mail article on the Strozk/Page situation. There have been questions about the spouse involvement discussed on this site. I suggest that this article in the DM adds a bit of information.
Why do we put up with having leftist communists in our government and schools?? It’s WAY overdue to clean these maggots from our country!
The swamp is leftist and all too unamerican.
Rich swells who are making massive incomes thanks to the Federal Government. Wouldn’t middle America like to make six figures like these guys are making?
You swamp dwellers sure have it good Jeanine!
Unfortunately, this sucks middle America dry in many cases. Have spent far too much time in small towns dying from over taxation and regulation. Some of these high rollers in DC need a trip to rural small town America. They might be a little less arrogant.
I don’t always agree with Fareed Zakaria on CNN, but I agree wholeheartedly with one of his observations, namely that liberals are nowhere near as tolerant as they think they are…..ignorant hillbillies…basket of deplorables…white supremacists…Clarence “Uncle Tom”as…cling to their Bibles and their guns, etc.
But liberals have been able to get away with intolerance because conservatives seldom challenge them. Now, with Trump as President, they are getting a very strong challenge and they obviously don’t like it.
Oops. Just when you thought the trolls would regain their senses, there is another e-mail bombshell from the love birds. It seems Hillary knew as well as Obama. Here is the relevant e-mail language from Page to Strozk.
“No Pete. lt’s your JOB And plus she actually knows what you’re doing this time. And that the American presidential election, and thus, the state of the world, actually hangs in the balance”.
I would have to agree with one part of Page’s statement, the state of the world did hang in the balance – and those who love America and Western civilization won at least a reprieve and time to rebuild the nations that value individual freedom and the rule of law.
RUH ROH ….- Scooby Doo. (Hillary and Barry ==> have MUCH TO ANSWER FOR)
One of the great unanswered questions is how do you exchange 50,000 e-mails between 2 people in two years. Considering a work year of 200 to 250 days, the math gives you somewhere between 200 to 250 e-mails per day. Even if you throw in all 365 days per year, you still get nearly 70 emails per day. Strange to say the least.
Allow me to dissent. Strozk and Page are fair game. So far as I can tell, their cuckolded spouses are innocent victims, and have already suffered enough, without being held up to public ridicule here.
Until they speak out, they are neither victims or perpetrators. The innocent victims in all of this are the American citizenry who have been treated to monstrous abuses of the government they empower to defend the Constitution and the nation. I will have sympathy when more is known. Now it is too soon.
By the way, the FBI oath is as follows: I [name] do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.
Your logic escapes me. They are not required to “speak out” unless they choose, at which point, they become fair game for all manner of cruelty. So far as we know, they have done nothing wrong, not even as much as Hillary, who enabled her husband’s infidelities. Speaking out — and only in one way, in support of their spouses — is a necessary precondition to criticism, not a requirement under any circumstances.
I fail to see how publicly humiliating them serves any purpose but cruelty, given the (relatively) private humiliation among friends and family that they already have suffered.by virtue of their spouses’ misdeeds.
We do not know, and that is why they are neither victims or perpetrators at this point. As far as speaking out, they are involved in one of the greatest scandals in American history. They are already publicly humiliated through no fault of their own, but that does not mean they are uninvolved. I point out the sordid Weiner/Abedin situation in which Abedin was considered an innocent until e-mails appeared on her unprotected laptops. You simply cannot make assumptions one way or the other here. You have to wait for some type of disclosure. I wonder whether all of these individuals now have lawyers to advise them. Would seem appropriate under the circumstances.
Oh, we make assumptions all the time, and one of those assumptions is that people are, in fact, innocent until proof of their misdeeds is offered. I’ve known too many spouses kept in the dark about their husband’s/wife’s misdeed to assume otherwise, and they — and their children — are perhaps the cruelest victims. To do otherwise is
unnecessarily cruel.
Well, that’s an assumption that most of us make. But, hey, go with that if you must. It’s about what I’d expect from pseudonymous posters.
Has it not occurred to you that there is something strange here. Every one shown has a different last name for one – and yet they are married. In the Burrow/Page case, they have young children. If you want to be sorry for someone then the obvious candidates, as you point out, are the young children who probably don’t understand what is happening. But even you make the assumption that the spouses were kept in the dark. I don’t know so I don’t make that assumption.
As far as misdeeds are concerned, I have no idea who you are addressing. If it is Page/Strozk then you have to be blind. So far, there is no indictment and, therefore, innocent until proof is in the eye of the beholder. I have said numerous times that nothing is real without actual indictments. That does not prevent me from using logic associated with proof.
By the way, I could care less what name you use. I don’t know you and you could just as easily be Pocahontas as James Young. I don’t recognize you as having contributed regularly to this site so you could be someone who just showed up to debate for a short while. This idea of getting huffy over a screen name is silly.
Allow me to respond to your trolling in the order in which you offer it:
1. Not sure why you find it “strange” that these individuals have last names different than your spouses. Non-traditional? Certainly (Mrs. Young would not approve). But “strange”? Sadly, not in the world which has been created by the more radical element of the feminist movement. That you seem to be unaware of it makes you either too ignorant to be commenting, or intentionally obtuse.
2. Again, you seem to miss the point: their spouses are entitled to the presumption that they were “kept in the dark” absent evidence to the contrary. Having offered none, you’re simply offering guilt by association.
3. We’re talking about their spouses, not Strozk and Page (there’s that intentionally obtuse thing again), and no evidence against their spouses has even been remotely offered. No, I’m not “intentionally blind,” and it’s simply asinine to suggest in an ongoing investigation that actual indictments are necessary to conclude that there has been illegal (possibly) or unethical (certainly) behavior. There is no probable cause standard which applies to reasoned decisionmaking outside of a criminal prosecution.
4. I don’t care what you think about what name I use, but it’s simply silly to suggest that I’m posting under other than my own name. I’m fair- to moderately- well known in Virginia GOP politics, in legal circles, and have my name on a couple of Supreme Court cases (check the photo closely). And I’m not “huffy” over your use of a screen name, but it’s easy to understand why you would belittle my response. In that way, your response differs little from Marxists, who hate people who oppose them, but really despise those who understand them. Even thieves don’t like to be called thieves, and I suppose that cowards are the same way.
As to “having contributed regularly to this site”? I haven’t, though I occasionally comment. And when a posting is beyond the pale, as this one is, I felt compelled to do so.
I have explained my rationale twice. Obviously there is no point in doing it again.
Warmac9999 is despicable. He is a bitter old man bent on showing the world how wrong it is, reminding us all one last time how we should’ve listened to him. He can write about trivial matters with stone-cold seriousness while the deficit doubles and the govt competes for credit, driving the market lower. He has repeatedly denounced the Republican Party and its leaders and shows no interest in actually winning elections, which is the real challenge because winners write history and losers complain. That explains Warmac9999 — he is a complainer, a whiner, still angry people have rushed to judgment against the murderous driver in Charlottesville.
I suggest you check out the Daily Mail. It has an extensive current article on the Strozk/Page situation and references a Gateway Pundit article on Strozk’s wife. Don’t know if this changes much but it is informative regarding our debate here.
This article does make me suspect that there seemed to be some “collusion” between them without knowing about the affair. FBI agents are pretty good at hiding things and lying, however most of them do it within the confines of the law.
https://www.sott.net/article/371308-Peter-Strzoks-wife-was-promoted-to-SEC-director-hours-after-FBI-found-Hillary-emails-on-Weiners-laptop
Spin, spin, spin. It is amusing to watch you extend for exaggeration and effect. You are the crazy old uncle who is his own worst enemy. Please, Warmac9999 never stop. You are the gift that keeps giving.
The kids are future leftist communists
That isn’t a future, that is a sentence. I hope the kids have some grand parents who can help salvage a truly terrible situation. From the Daily Mail pictures, they are really quite young – am guessing one is a 5 or 6 year old. Didn’t see a picture of an other or others.
If they worked under Obama, naturally they forfeit their right to trial by jury. They should be put in front of a Military Tribunal after they have confessed, and then summarily executed for Treason.
Hey , why don’t you hide your head in the sand until you run out of oxygen ?
That oath provides no protection for conspirators for interfering with the election process, whether or not their candidate wins or loses. Also the subsequent attempts to unseat a sitting President by using the FBI and DOJ for this political purpose are acts of treason and sedition. Hang them high.
A military officer’s career path would have ended with this type of behavior. The FBI should expect no less integrity of their personnel. These two have sullied the reputation of what was formerly a respected entity. Nothing but contempt is coming from all but the dems who seek to defend their own sins by shrieking, “Foul!” Well, we know what’s foul and from where the stench is coming…
Agreed, this is garbage. What is the purpose of this article?
Pebbles in the pond, my friend. Pebbles in the pond.
I understand the principle. Doesn’t make this type of “stuff” any better or substantive, regardless the source. This blurb doesn’t add any revelation or pertinent information w regards to the discussion.
What’s the point other than, good for you, you piled on the respective spouses. Way to elevate the discussion, kudos.
You apparently haven’t read my comments. I take the position of I don’t know and, therefore, it is premature to decide one way or the other about the spouses. This is a very ugly and sordid situation, and whether or not this blurb adds value is simply one of opinion. Actually, I preferred the previous article for comment because it was more specific in terms of substance — but I go with the flow.
You take a position? No, let us correct that: You react. You bloviate. You exaggerate. You make broad sweeping generalizations in an attempt to draw attention to yourself.
Just block those two assholes. It isn’t worth arguing with them. They have no other life than to troll here.
I don’t block trolls because I like them to expose themselves. It does, at times, get annoying (which is their intent). If a troll goes over he edge with threats and deliberate lies, I ignore him or her. As a test a few years ago, I spent time debating on the huffington post. These trolls are rather inept in comparison and if you give them enough rope the hang themselves with what they think is clever.
“From what I have heard her Democrat counterparts are quick to ban alternative points of view”
Yep, I got banned in about 3 posts over at Blue VA. Others have too. They are for tolerance until it comes to a difference of opinion.
There are about four individuals who troll here. They have no interest in debate just in creating confusion and rendering abuse.
There is a place at GITMO awaiting those two. They have an appointment scheduled with a waterboarding therapist. Let’s forget about the Eighth Amendment for a day and pull their finger nails out with pliers if the waterboarding fails to get a truthful response.
Innocent victims? And they continue to be married to cheating spouses? They are masochists, that’s what they are!
Meanwhile, Trump was sheltering a wife beater in the White House. Cheating on spouses is small time for the Trump GOP – the minimum price of admission.
Some would falsely call this entire post doxxing. Warmac9999, for example, called it doxxing when I wrote that Googling his name exposed his attempt (they took his money but wouldn’t give him the gun) to buy an AR-15 to deal with HRC. My understanding is that doxxing is exposing someone’s address and phone number and/or other identity documents. Is this post doxxing when it exposes someone’s family? I do not think so, but am open to the interpretations of others.
Meanwhile, as regards both parties, Washington and society at large, calling out this behavior is like issuing speeding tickets at the Indy 500. All too common and easy to find regardless of who you are watching, especially POTUS.
Bahahahaha, so foolish….Not even a good troll. It must suck to suck all the time.
The leftist trolls have been stunned by the revelations of FBI/DOJ abuses authorized and supported by the Obama and Clinton team. Don’t worry, they will eventually be back in full bloom within the next week or month or year.
You are correct that the Eric troll comment is really quite weak. Can’t stick to the subject at all and has to make something up for equivalence. Of course, we can always throw the Bill Clinton rapist back at them.
Stunned? There is a saying in DC: When the other side is disintegrating, they have little need for your help.
So, you are good with the WH sheltering a wife beater. Can’t say I’m surprised.
No. And neither am I good with the entire Democrat party shielding a rapist as president. But, as usual, you misstate the situation. This wife beater you refer to quit and was gone within two days of discovery. I think that is pretty darn unsheltered.
Nope, they knew about the wife beater in their midst for months. The only thing that caused them to can him is the picture of his wife’s black eye. Until that came out they protected him and knowingly gave him quarter. No excuse (but you’re good with it).
No. All they had was rumor. Next came allegations and accusations. Then came a photograph which was treated as proof. At that point, Porter canned himself earlier this week. As usual, your version of innocent until proven guilty is politically dependent.
I don’t know what Porter is going to do because he has disputed the circumstances associated with the photo. He has two former wives both of whom allege mistreatment. To reclaim a semblance of his career he will have to do something.
Reported today. White House counsel knew about wife beating history a full year ago. Why do you think he could get his security clearance? Really, try to spark up those few brain cells that might still be working there. They knowingly gave safe quarter to a wife beater and now you are covering for them. Like I said, no surprises.
If nothing else, you are persistent. I, too, read the reports but none said anything different than what I said just above. You don’t get rid of someone for an allegation. The #MeToo movement has led to a lot of bogus claims and the reactions have been guilty until proven innocent in too many cases. Am betting you wouldn’t like to have your job, assuming you have one, contingent on a sexual harassment claim – unless it happens to be true. I believe in innocent until proven guilty and, in this case, a single photo was sufficient proof.
Hollingsworth shared picture and access to her restraining order with White House in January 2017. You would know that if you read past the headlines. They knew and protected him nonetheless. Now you will try to make another excuse for this reprehensible lot. You are the same as they are – no integrity whatsoever.
I chuckle at your concern for integrity.
So this is your defense: They knew there were “allegations”, they knew he could not get clearance, but they needed to carry on with business as usual because, hey, he is a great guy. THe FBI had the picutres and the restraining order for a year – but they did not discuss or share them with the White House? We are supposed to believe that, eh? In fact, we are supposed to believe that the White House staff did not even ask what the allegations he was facing were:
“A White House official said McGahn was only aware that ex-wives were prepared to make damaging accusations about him but did not ask what the accusations were because Porter said they were not true.”
How did THAT conversation go?
Porter: ” Um, I have this thing that some women from my past are making these allegations against me…but believe me, they are all untrue.”
Kelley: “That’s ok, son, we don’t need to know about that sort of stuff”
What a load of horse manure!
From a NY Times article:
Rob Cromwell, a former senior F.B.I. agent who oversaw all background investigations for the bureau, including those at the White House, said it would be highly unusual for the agency not to have informed the White House of such allegations
“A serious allegation like that? The F.B.I. would notify the White House right away,” Mr. Cromwell said. “You’re having a person exposed to classified material, and that’s a risk. The customer is notified, and the customer, in this case, is the White House.”
A key player in the WH staff under Kelley is not able to get his clearance past interim status. You don’t think that Kelley demanded to know why? They clearly knew, and to suggest otherwise is beyond belief. They simply did not care – nor do you apparently.
Well, two things are certain here. First, you have shifted away from the crimes of the Obama Administration. Second, you have declared someone guilty even though they have said they are innocent. Bravo. You are not just a troll but a confirmed leftist troll at that.
By the way, what level of clearance was requested? Do you know how long it takes to get such a clearance?
The FBI told the WH that the problem was the wife beating charges. More time would not have helped. And you don’t think they prioritize WH clearances? Really?
Last comment on security clearances:
“When the news broke that the FBI had denied Ben Rhodes an interim security clearance during the 2008 Obama transition, I, like many Americans, was deeply troubled that a man unworthy of a security clearance was nevertheless made a senior Obama adviser,” Rep. Trent Franks (R., Ariz.), one of the leaders of the current inquiry, told the Free Beacon.
“Ben Rhodes used his position to create the Iran deal ‘echo chamber’ by admittedly lying to the gullible media in order to willfully mislead the American people about the [Iran nuclear deal]—consequently, questions abound,” Franks said, adding that multiple questions remain about the circumstances surrounding FBI investigations into Rhodes’ past.
Trump did not get rid of Porter because of security clearance issue. In fact, he kept him on in spite of security clearance issues. He got rid of Porter because the photos of his wife’s black eye he gave her went public. Otherwise, they were fine with such an upstanding guy! Now it seems there was another wife beater in the White House. The Trump GOP sure like the domestic violence types don’t they.
And now this:
“Kelly told staff Friday to say he had decided to fire Porter within 40 minutes of learning allegations Porter abused two ex-wives were credible. Some staffers who were at the meeting left feeling that Kelly had effectively asked them to lie on his behalf.”
Great character on display at that White House these days. You realize, I hope, that such a claim is demonstrably false – hence the reaction of staffers.
Oh, dear. More of those anonymous sources created by the MSM. Tell me who, by name, stepped forward to confirm this. At this point, I cease to care. You have tried to run away from the purpose of this article – and I am through with your silliness. The truth about Porter and his wives may at some point come out. He is no longer an issue for the White House. However, the problems within the FBI and DOJ are quite extensive and the number of resignation continues apace. I will stick with what is important to the nation. You can have fun with the National Inquirer.
“At this point, I cease to care.”
How can you cease what you never started? At least be honest – in your opinion, it is not a big deal that the White House harbored and defended a wife beater. Own it, Sport!
I never beat my wife. Oh wait, I did beat her. No, wait. I just slapped her and her eye got puffy. A sitting Democrat Senator. Liar. Wife beater. Still in office.
http://freebeacon.com/politics/dem-senator-hit-ex-wife-sits-rob-porter-abuse-scandal/
The troll was never concerned about a sitting president abusing decades worth of women. Now all of a sudden he is offended about what happened in the white house. This article isn’t even about the white house but about the misuse of the authority of the FBI and DOJ. Just a distraction.
http://freebeacon.com/politics/dem-senator-hit-ex-wife-sits-rob-porter-abuse-scandal/
Liberals who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones … this guy is still a sitting Democrat Senator. Why doesn’t the party throw him out?
http://freebeacon.com/politics/dem-senator-hit-ex-wife-sits-rob-porter-abuse-scandal/
Senator Mark Warner is now caught up in collusion with the Russians. His email indicates he wanted no paper trail. The Conservative Treehouse has an excellent article on what is going on with the Warner committee.
Ironic that he use the term hillbilly in a negative manner since he is for Hill and Billy. 🙂
This is the problem with DC. Far too many government employees have forgotten that the exist to serve the People not manage the People. When you read the Page/Strozk e-mails, you see the loss of the concept of service. This is the elitist left in action but it can and does impact the entire bureaucracy.
WWHD? (What would J. Edgar Hoover do?). He’d fire this pair, that’s what. The bureau is not what it used to be.
Shouldn’t that be “estranged” wife and husband?
One would think but it seems Page and her husband are still together.
A REAL Hillary “copycat” for sure…in many areas…
This reminds me of many personal situations in DC. The overworked and individually independent husband and wife who have created their own separate lives. At some point, the things that brought them together in the first place no longer matter and comfort is found elsewhere in status or alcohol/drugs. As Mr. Young pointed out above, the curse of feminism is part of this story but so is the loss of fidelity in marriage. Mr Young points out that his wife would not appreciate being called anything other than Mrs. Young. He and I are blessed in that regard. I’ll take family with home and hearth over self importance any day.
This whole thing is just plain weird both professionally and personally.
Good article. Forces people to reflect upon the personal as well as the professional. It is much easier to read an e-mail and curse the evil it represents.
Little children. Separate bedrooms. You stay together because they are your ultimate responsibility. Now, a year from now, who knows but right now you must sacrifice for such little ones.
