Jeanine, they forgot to put the 2016′ Republican nominee in their straw poll.
It’s still Romney. He still has 60 Million + votes at least. I bet I will be able to say I told you so. Again.
Remember, it’s still Romney.
No offense, but how exactly is Cruz eligible?
Bobby Jindal down there with guitar strumming Mike Huckabee, sad. I see Walker and Jindal and a bunch of no experience wannabes, either no experience period (Carson, Fiorina), first term Senators (Paul, Cruz) or a guy who hasn’t held any elected office in over a decade (Bush). Being the contrarian here I just don’t see the bench strength the Republicans keep harping about for 2016 to oppose Hillary. Only Jindal and Walker have any strong recent executive management credentials to put before a national electorate the rest is pretty marginal. I’m also not buying Hillary is as weak a candidate as she is often portrayed, as its well to keep in mind you are not just running against Hillary, you are running against “the Clintons” a still powerful set of political power brokers.
The Republican candidates seem to be more interested in running for President than actually being elected President. In other words, success is in how many losers ran for President. Is the base able to claim a numbers based victory?
These fictional type personalities have no chance at becoming the “king”.
However, they are almost, if not so, automatically qualified to deliver the right wing media BS on Fox just because they ran an unsuccessful campaign for Pres.
These presidential losers find a welcome pot of gold waiting somewhere in the Fox media empire after their well deserved lose.
Examples? Well, Huckabee, Palin, and many others. Where would they be without Fox paychecks now? Skid row?
Give them credit for having a nose for the cash? None have any answer for anything, other than more “corporate strangulation” of the middle-class. The application on the national level of the Virginia style “power company” based form of government being a prime example.
ok, i’ve seen where Ted Cruz was born in Canada. but if yall are including him in a Presidential straw poll, he must be eligible.
He is eligible.
Eligible, but electable?
There is not even a 1% chance of Cruz being elected Pres. next year.
Cruz is one of the only candidates that will actually engage on the field of battle….someone who will fight. And he’s not “new” to the dance…he has a long record of service. And that record does NOT include leaving US service members and ambassadors to die, alone and overrun.
Ted Cruz ‘2016!
This all may be true, I do not disagree. However, who’s money is behind him? Who is going to vote to shut down government?
Walker could “pick the new Palin” in S. Martinez, (female and Hispanic vote) but mite end up with the same result. We all know who’s money will be behind Walker.
Bush is a totally uninformed joke. Walking, talking, big money. Big oil wearing boots.
I am just a messenger, who enjoys the debate. I also believe that the American Corporation is the biggest security threat to our Nation. I would find it very difficult to support “the Koch errand boy”.
Let me ask you a question Eric. Who do you think the Democrats fear the most in 2016′? Cruz? Cristie? Bush? Walker maybe? Do they fear anyone?
Are these nothing more than who wants to be a millionaire candidates? The next Fox TV show? Or Radio?
I say Romney. Still, it’s Romney. I do not care what he says. He is the Republican’s only chance if the election were held tomorrow.
I still think it’s going to be Romney. It will be made to look like a draft Romney type deal. A save America with Romney deal. Only Mitt can save us from some type of “synthetic” evil that “they” put in people’s hearts and minds. But, basically, the plan has ALREADY been made and approved in my opinion.
The only out is a bold new face who takes everybody by complete surprise. Maybe another movie star. Somebody no one saw coming. Long shot.
These people are smart, but also very stupid. Their lust for $$$$$$$ always overcomes their intelligence. They use their intelligence to do evil instead of good.
I have no proof, just my opinion…….
Just like Pres. Obama. Cruz is eligible UNTIL!
UNTIL he becomes a contender, then, we will see if he is eligible? I guess, right now, Cruz is eligible, because he is not yet really “eligible”? When he becomes “eligible”, we may find that he is not eligible? Understand how this really works?
Ha, Ha, Ha!
