The Albemarle delegate’s campaign campaign for Attorney General is set to announce a truly impressive list of endorsements from around the state. What makes this list so impressive is that it contains much more than mere token support from all corners of the party. You literally won’t see some of these names together on any other endorsement list. Notable, too, is the absence for now of endorsements from elected officials, which is bound to be an equally impressive list once released.
These endorsements are a testament to Bell’s campaign work ethic back in 2013, when he nearly unhorsed GOP favorite Sen. Mark Obenshain for the Republican nomination. Bell is probably the hardest working man in Virginia politics, and that work appears to be paying off. John Adams, the only other announced candidate for the race, will have his work cut out for him.

Rob Bell’s work ethic and organizational ability are unsurpassed. Moreover, he has taken the time to reach out to people on a one-on-one basis. He will be our candidate.
Nice job by Rob Bell! Wouldn’t he be a breath of fresh air after Mark Herring?
Rob is a true conservative fighter and should have been our nominee last time. Unlike someon else we all know who sat on the sidelines, Rob worked tirelessly for the guy who won.
The election can’t come soon enough. Can’t we just impeach Mark Herring now? If nothing else, I’m looking forward to Herring getting stomped in the next election. Too bad we have to wait so long.
I think Rob will be a great AG..A decent intelligent good man…
Rob is a good man. Get to know John Adams.
Sorry, but what does this Adams fellow have to offer other speaking in broad platitudes? Rob has a proven conservative record in the legislature, not at a mega firm defending bankers. Turbo, I know you are a supporter of Adams–do you know him? Maybe you are a fellow member at the ritzy Richmond country club Adams belongs to? I’m sure Adams is a nice guy but we can’t take a gamble on him. He apparently showed up to the 5th district meeting this weekend but left by the time they invited him to speak. And then deleted posts about it on his Facebook page. What kind of message does that send?
Yes, you made my point for me. 5th District Chair Lynn Tucker posted on Adams’s Facebook page over the weekend asking him why he left the meeting early and why he didn’t want to speak. Adams posted a response to her comment, AND THEN DELETED ALL THREE POSTS. What kind of candidate deletes a GOP district chair’s comments? He must not care much for what Ms. Tucker said. I think we deserve to hear from Chairwoman Tucker on this. Steve Albertson–can you get a comment from her?
How about I comment now. I did not post anything on Adam’s Facebook page, but would be interested if anyone had screen shots of what was written. I do remember trying to introduce him at the meeting, but he was not there. I support Rob, but have no mud to sling.
Thank you for replying. It is interesting that Adams was not there yet purports to have been present. (His original photo of the meeting is still on his Facebook page). You’ll have to excuse me; I’ve spoken with some folks (this little stunt has stirred up some buzz) and it must have been CJ Hatcher who wrote on Adams’s Facebook. I do not have a screenshot of the exchange because I never expected that Adams would delete content from his page, but I guess I was wrong. If Ms. Hatcher or anyone else has a record of the exchange on Facebook before Adams deleted it, we would all appreciate some clarification. Either Adams was not there when he claims to have been, or he is censoring fellow Republicans’ comments from his Facebook page. Either way, not good.
