For the fourth time, State Central Committee has voted for a convention to nominate our statewide candidates this year. The vote to change from a convention to primary was defeated by 38 to 33 with 4 voting present (due to a conflict of interest).
The convention will be on May 1st.
We hope this is the last time State Central Committee votes on primary vs convention, four votes on the subject is more than enough. Our candidates deserve finality on the subject so they can get on with their campaigns.
