Candidate for Supervisor in Sully District of Fairfax County has received the endorsement of the Virginia Police Benevolent Association. He is one of only two Republicans in Fairfax County to receive this endorsement. (Springfield district Supervisor Pat Herrity was also endorsed.) [read_more]
“John Guevara’s knowledge and experience on issues that are important to law enforcement professionals makes him a deserving recipient of our endorsement. The Fairfax County Chapter of the Virginia Police Benevolent Association is proud to put our support behind John Guevara and ask that the citizens of the Sully District do the same. A vote for John Guevara is a vote for the men and women of law enforcement and the citizens they serve,” said Virginia PBA President, Joe Woloszyn.
Candidate Guevara responded,
“I have the utmost respect for the brave men and women of the Virginia Police Benevolent Association as well those they represent. I look forward to working with the PBA on public safety issues that are important to Sully District and Fairfax County,” Guevara said. “This endorsement is especially meaningful because I received the news the day after participating in this year’s National Night Out. I know that Sully District will become even safer when our communities work together with our local law enforcement and representatives on public safety issues.”

Guevara came out of what seemed like no-where and has built up incredible momentum in such a short time.
He’s a wonderful, honorable, kind, man and an excellent candidate. He will do us proud on the Board of Supervisors.
That’s good news. John and Pat are great candidates. We need to support all of our Fairfax candidates, including Jennifer Chronis, Jane Gandee, and John Cook.
Jeanine, can we get your promise to support the Republican nominees in Fairfax?
I don’t live in Fairfax. But sure, I’ll support all the Republican candidates in Fairfax.
Speaking of support from other Republicans, I’m glad that Brian has given his full throated endorsement to Guevara and has pledged any funds necessary from his own campaign coffers to ensure an win in Sully.
Really? Brian is supporting Guevara? And he’s going to give him money?! Wow! Finally! That’s very good news.
According to his latest campaign finance report, Brian has no money left to speak of in his campaign coffer. He has given no money to John Guevara. Maybe he can come out and help knock on doors.
How dare someone slander Brian with the vicious lie that he is supporting conservative Republicans? This is an outrage!!! On behalf of all moderates I demand an immediate retraction to this unfounded and unproven allegation of cooperation and unity with the grassroots from Brian. He deserves better.
We raised another $3000 since that last report, and we’ve paid off most of the campaign debt. There won’t be any money left to give to anybody else, unfortunately.
And as I’ve said from the beginning, I would support the Republican nominee and I have. If John wants more support from me, he knows what he needs to do in order to earn it.
I would post this under my usual account, but Jeanine banned me for no reason.
Hahaha, AS IF. Brian still refuses to support or endorse John Guevara despite pressure from even the most establishment politicians in Fairfax.
Love the sarcasm! Brian will never endorse or support John Guevara. Brian will nurse that grudge to his grave.
