This week has been a source of quiet pride for me as a Catholic, even thought I might not be the best one out there. Pope Francis’s triumphant visit has shown the United States that at its core the Catholic Church is one of mercy and compassion.

“Hell will freeze over before establishment GOP will listen to the American people.”  So says Ted Cruz, and he’s right.

One candidate had a breakout with the potential to shake up the race, and one candidate is shaping up to be everyone’s second choice. Otherwise, it’s steady-as-she-goes.
