Last week, in the official 6th District Newsletter, Jennifer Brown showed why she is not fit to lead the GOP into the 2020’s and beyond. In the 6th Congressional District Newsletter, The Chair took an opinion on Republicans voting in a Democratic primary from Roanoke City Unit Chair Charlie Nave, and proceeded to critique Chairman Nave’s interpretation of the Party Plan in public.
The Party Plan states that if any member of a GOP Committee votes in a Democratic Primary, they are banned from party activities for 5 years. Pretty much every member of the Republican hierarchy agrees that Republicans should not be voting in Democratic primaries, and vice versa. Charlie Nave and Jennifer Brown agree wholeheartedly on this.
But for the 6th District Chair to be publicly calling out a member of her own Committee, who has been a fierce warrior when it comes to conservative values and the 2nd Amendment Sanctuary movement, and to critique in public an interpretation of the Party Plan, is unprofessional to say the least. We need to be working with each other instead of against each other to have any chance of turning Virginia a deep shade of red.
We can do better than this in one of the most rock solid conservative areas in Virginia.
