Beware of secondary media reports sourced from “Politico”. If Jindal goes it will be solely based on this latest funding round, ending today. He is currently around $400K off target though internal campaign polls show him gaining some traction in Iowa. Solid, proven, accomplished, conservative policy mavens are a tough sell to the primary voter in a quip laden, sound byte explanation, beauty contest that is the modern national main stream media driven presidential primary.
Pataki is irrelevant. Jindal hasn’t made an impact, unfortunately. I think the next debate is crucial for Paul. If he doesn’t fare well, it’s probably over.
Jindal should have run in 2012, for the life of me I don’t understand how Romney got so many people to stand down.
Pataki grew up with me in Peekskill, NY. I was long gone before he was Governor but I would have voted for him. I could see him in a Cabinet role. Rand Paul?? maybe I’m in a generation that has concerns. But I WAS impressed with Jindal when he was here to support Cuccinelli. He should have a significant role somewhere, IMHO. ?
