American Thinker has two things Cruz can do right now that will help him win the nomination. Â First he can promise to end affirmative action. Â We all know it’s wrong to have ANY policies based on race. Â End it. Secondly, he can announce Carly Fiorina for his Vice President. I think Rubio has got something going with Haley. They got that eyeball staring deal starting up that appears more than just wanting a VP. And besides, South Carolina is a lot closer than South America so he wouldn’t have to lie about fishing trips like the last palmetto bug.
That’d be a good pairing, Cruz/Fiorina. Quite frankly, if Cruz or Rubio is the nominee, I can’t see them NOT picking someone like Fiorina, Haley, or Ernst as their running mate. Even if Haley and Ernst were Rubio supporters, if Cruz gets it, I don’t think it would be a stretch for one of them to join his team.
Personally, I think Ernst is a slightly better choice. In spite of her lackluster reply to Obama, she’s got the viable swing state, the military background, and the overall potential to make herself really valuable as a veep.
Actually that team appeals to me almost as much as Trump/Cruz or, Trump/Kasich. Win, win, win,
