Voting in the 8th Congressional District convention, which starts at 9 a.m. on May 21 and will take place at the Waterford Events Center in Springfield. Learn more here.
The 10th district Firehouse Primary will begin at 9:00 and continue until 4:00 at various locations across the nation. (You might want to bring an umbrella or something else to block the very hot sun. Voting will take place inside but if there are lines you will be glad to have something to block the predicted 90+ degree heat.) Voting locations in the 10th district can be found here. There will be curbside voting for those with mobility issues. It will be ranked voting, you will vote your choices by your ranking on each of the 11 candidates, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and so on. Ranking many, or all of the candidates, does not dilute your top choices. The 11 candidates running in the 10th to unseat our terrible representative Jennifer Wexton, are here. With Biden’s approval ratings in the 30s, and Pelosi’s even lower, this is the year we can turn the 10th district back to red. Wexton always votes with Biden and Pelosi and everyone can see the results. High inflation, the crisis at the border, terrible appointments to high positions, stopping American Oil production, and the baby food crisis, are just a few of the things that are ruining our country.
