This is why touch screen machines should be outlawed:
As a former electoral board member, I know this is most likely a simple bad calibration. But one does have to wonder why the “bad calibration” always seems to lean left.
I hope Rigell’s lawyers are on top of this, and have the relevant electoral boards keeping these machines from being wiped after the polls close. Not sure all models of machines can do this, but some can track how many times someone had to re-do their vote to get a sense of how widespread the problem is (and the extent to which it affected just one candidate, or machines calibrated by one particular technician).
