Was Judge Scalia Murdered? Conspiracy Theories Abound

written by Jeanine Martin February 15, 2016

While I am not a fan of conspiracy theories, the death of Antonin Scalia has raised many questions among those who are.

Scalia was found dead in his room at the Cibolo Creek Ranch in south west Texas.  He was found by John Poindexter, a Democrat who has made large contributions to the party and was given an award by the President.  More on the interesting Mr. Poindexter here and  here.   Mr. Poindexter says he found the Justice asleep with a pillow over his head and the bedclothes undisturbed.  Who sleeps with a pillow over their head? This leads conspiracists to speculate that Justice Scalia was smothered although there were no signs of any struggle making it highly unlikely.

Other theories include the Justice was poisoned or gassed.  Carbon monoxide perhaps?  His last meal laced with arsenic?  The basic three ways Scalia might have been killed are outlined here along with the reasons why none is valid.  We don’t know and we may never know because Scalia was pronounced dead by Presidio County Judge Cinderella Guevara who also ruled that the death was of natural causes although she never saw the body and made the ruling over the phone, all of which is legal in Texas.  The state declined to ask for autopsy. It is rumored that family did not want an autopsy but that decision is up to the state, not the family. American Thinker is calling for an autopsy.   He is also asking for a Joint Committee of Congress to investigate and put to rest any doubts that Scalia’s death was anything but natural because of the left’s extreme hatred of Scalia.

Some interesting comments on how Scalia might have died here  and here.

The most likely reason for his death is the most obvious, Scalia was 79 years old, overweight, and not in the best of health.  May this fine man Rest in Peace.

More on the chaos and confusion surrounding Justice Scalia’s death here.  New York Magazine story.

The Washington Post poses more questions about Scalia’s death.
