Tonight President Trump made a great choice in replacing Antonin Scalia on the Supreme court with Judge Neil Gorsuch. Will Trump get to choose another Supreme Court Justice? Based on the last three Presidents, Obama, Bush, and Clinton, and the age of the current justices, the answer is yes. Ages of the Justices from the thegreenpapers.com:
By the end of Trump’s first term three more Justices will be well over 80 with Ruth Bader Ginsburg being closer to 90. Odds are Trump will have a second, and perhaps a third, nomination to the Supreme Court.
Aren’t you glad we elected Trump?

The Gorsuch pick is basically as good as it gets. However, I would also like to thank Trump for his visit to the coffin of the dead Seal. Unlike obama and hillary who viewed such activities as a chore, Trump sees it as an obligation of honor.
Everyday President Trump surprises me with something good. Today was no exception. Trump cares about our military, unlike Obama.
The only real concern is that he is Episcopalian and not American Anglican. The Episcopal Church in the USA has gone full tilt to the left and continues to decline in average Sunday attendance as a result.
Once he is able to replace one more liberal voice on the court, I hope the devolution of power back to the states begins in earnest.
“Aren’t you glad we elected Trump?”
“We”?, you got a mouse in your pocket or just a little selective remembrance?
😉
We are all President Trump after the inauguration.
While that may be true, post election, pre-election, which is what is implied by the author, “we”, including the author if her words are to be believed, did not get him elected.
I know, semantics but words do in fact, have meaning.
I voted for Trump as did everyone in my house and all of my friends. Yes, ‘we’ got him elected.
Compared to what passed for the VAGOP leadership, Jeanine and TBE were the VA-equivalent of Diamond and Silk!
Outstanding pick with Judge Gorsuch.
Wasn’t Gorsuch the middle of the road nominee? Let’s hope he doesn’t turn into another Roberts.
I have never heard anything like that about Gorsuch. Every conservative I know is happy with Trump’s choice.
I want Ted Cruz to be the 3rd and John Adams to be the 4th.
Those work for me!
Everybody has skeletons.
Kennedy is worse than Roberts.
The probability of the next president appointing three justices to the Supreme Court was the biggest reason I voted for The Donald. I knew exactly what Shrillary would do and taking a chance on candidate Trump was a no-brainer. This first appointment is obviously the “best” outcome conservatives could have hoped for. Campaign promises fulfilled at a record pace, will we ever be able to settle for less?
Gorsuch is an excellent choice by Trump. Hopefully, when he has to make another appointment, he picks just as well. I’m rooting for Don Willett.
