Republicans in Virginia’s 10th district will hold their convention on June 20th in Winchester at Shenandoah University.
The convention delegates will choose the Republican candidate for Congress in the 10th district. Four candidates are vying for the nomination. Delegates will also choose a Chairman of the 10th district, delegates and alternates to the Republican National convention, and a Presidential Elector. All of the candidates running for office at the convention can be seen here.
The Republican Party of Virginia has not yet set a date for the statewide convention.
UPDATE: Virginia (Ginny) Thomas has withdrawn from the race for 10th District Presidential Elector. She will continue in her race for National Delegate. This means our District Presidential Elector will be Cathy McNickle of Loudoun.
