The following response is a post I made on Facebook in regards to the passing of Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and how it should be viewed by fellow Christian Conservatives.
Senator Dianne Feinstein has passed away! As Conservatives and Republicans alike, instead of celebrating her death all because of the support for the things we’ve opposed, think about this!
Was she saved? If not this means she is spending eternity in hell. Jesus gave His life for Dianne Feinstein just as much as He did for you and me! She had a choice to accept Jesus or reject Him and whether she did or not leading up to her death is a mystery only she and Jesus know. Second, pray for her family that they may experience saving grace through Jesus alone and accept Him as Lord and Savior, confessing and forsaking their sins in the process as well.
My grandfather in law passed away a couple weeks ago and through his death thirteen people gave their lives to Christ and while we all miss him, we know that he was saved and is in heaven with Jesus seeing Him face to face. God used this loss to bring others to Him and despite Dianne Feinstein standing and advocating for that which is immoral even God can use her death to bring forth salvation and use it for His good.
As a Conservative Republican I did not support Dianne Feinstein nor would I have voted for her if I lived in her state or if my life depended on it but I’m not gonna celebrate her death and act joyful because she’s gone, for in conclusion putting politics aside she was created in the image of God, gifted a soul and now she’s spending eternity in either heaven or hell and nobody else should celebrate this moment in history either. We especially as Christians should know better.
That was my message on Facebook to others and I indeed pray for salvation to come from her passing and my prayers go out to her family.
Salvation is a free gift for all who will accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. (John 14:6, Romans 10:9-13, 1 John 1:9)
