Abortion clinics in Virginia remain open after the Supreme Court struck down Roe v Wade, throwing abortion laws back to the states to decide. In Virginia abortion is legal for up to 25 weeks. That is not the case in nearby states so Planned Parenthood abortion clinics in Virginia are expecting an influx of pregnant women from states like Tennessee and Kentucky where trigger laws made abortion illegal as soon as the Supreme Court issued their ruling.
In Bristol Tennessee, the abortion clinic known as Bristol Regional Women’s Center will move across to the Virginia side of the city so they can continue to provide abortion services.
From WJHL.com:
We will do everything within our power to help keep abortion accessible to the women in our area. As of now, we have secured a location in Bristol, Virginia, where we will continue to offer our abortion services legally, writes Dr. Wesley F. Adams, Jr., a doctor for the Bristol clinic, in a GoFundMe posting online.“
How nice, a GoFundme page so that no one need ever miss an appointment to kill their baby.
