On Monday Rich Anderson, chairman of the Republican party of Virginia (RPV) met with senior staffers of the Republican National Committee (RNC) to ask them to donate money to Virginia Republicans to help with Governor Youngkin’s goals of maintaining Republican control of the House of Delegates and flipping the State Senate to a Republican majority.
Anderson was denied. The RNC will give no money to help Virginia this year, despite the fact only a handful of states have any elections this year and it’s very important that Republicans control Virginia in 2024.
Back in September President Biden ordered the Democrat National Committee to give a million dollars to Democrats in Virginia. Did that make the RNC believe Republicans couldn’t win in Virginia so they saving their money for the big presidential race next year? Or does RNC chair Ronna Romney McDaniel dislike Virginia and she doesn’t care which political party runs it? Does she not realize how important Virginia is to the national elections next year?
Ronna Romney McDaniel has been a terrible leader for the RNC. Too bad we can’t vote her off our island.
