In a new Franklin Pierce University/Boston Herald poll of 442 likely Democratic voters in New Hampshire Bernie Sanders leads Clinton 44 to 37. Joe Biden who has not yet entered the race garnered 9% support.
Bernie Sanders has had a very swift rise in the polls. In March he only had 8% support, now he’s at 44%. When people were asked if the candidate ‘supports issues important to you’, only 28% said Hillary while 68% said Sanders and 25% said Biden. Only 3% of those surveyed said Hillary ‘stands firm on the issues’ but 20% said Sanders did. Fifty-one percent said they could vote for Hillary for President but they weren’t enthusiastic about it.
It seems the bloom is off the rose with Hillary Clinton. Does this mean Joe Biden will get in the race? It’s looking more and more likely.
