“Like so much of our government, including the intelligence community, the DOJ and the FBI are beyond reform. They must be rebuilt from the ground up.”
This really has nothing to do with Donald J. Trump. It’s about the Republic.
America’s justice system has been sliding downhill into corruption for decades. The inherent organizational incompetence of the Department of Justice, including the agency with lots of guns, the FBI, has steadily metastasized into systemic corruption.
And finally, last night happened.
It’s like looking at the carcass of a dead animal in the wild with its guts pouring out from the rotting body. It shocks one to see that reality when something good dies.
Sadly, the nation’s intelligence community is no better, just more subtle.
The death of the DOJ and FBI have been a long time coming. Years ago, I began writing on the pattern of lies, obfuscation, and dishonesty that both the DOJ and the FBI seemed to have incorporated into their operations with increasing frequency. From JFK, King, Ruby Ridge, Waco, the Atlanta Olympics, 9-11, the Anthrax case, Enron, political vendettas and spying, FISA lies, the Russia “pee” tape hoax, entrapping Carter Page and General Michael Fynn, surveilling and questioning protesting parents at School Board meetings doesn’t scratch the surface of public wrongdoing and corruption uncovered. It gets only worse, never better.
Some cases may have started as simple incompetence or dropping the ball, even if the intent had merit. Regardless, lying under oath, manipulation, or destruction of evidence to make a case or gain a conviction seems to have become a common process. (This downhill slide also spills over into state and local courts.)
Like him or hate him, and whatever his flaws, former President Trump was elected as president in 2016. Before he took office, a deliberate, elaborate plan had already unfolded to doom his presidency. It was a real coup, not an imagined one.
Interestingly, lest we forget, every time President Trump made a claim, such as “they are spying on my campaign,” he turned out to be correct. Both the DOJ and FBI have been caught red-handed, turning the prosecution of Donald Trump into a charade of lies and false testimony under oath. The Director of the FBI, the CIA, and the Attorney General have all lied in public and before Congress without repercussions.
At every turn, the nation heard incessantly that President Trump was “one step” away from arrest. For what? Just about every imaginable crime. And yet, six years later, no crimes have been alleged in court. No indictments have been forthcoming. The January 6th committee, a conglomeration of nitwits breaking House rules even to convene, has been relegated to Soviet-style show trials without even rebuttal witnesses or defense. Even when the Secret Service states something didn’t happen, the J6 committee continues to claim it did.
Then there was last night.
Like a third-world hell-hole, armed FBI agents showed up at the Florida home of the former president, at his Mar-a-Largo resort. Several in addition to the Secret Service had the much assailed and hated “assault weapons” hung from their torsos, awaiting what? A frontal attack by the front-desk staff? Armed cooks? This was a political show-and-tell. The once-vaunted FBI has fallen to the Cuban-Maoist model of taking your political opponents to the public square, where everyone can see what you do with those who dare oppose the tyrants in power.
What a disgrace.
According to multiple sources, President Trump has been accommodating to the ostensible reason for the raid, his possession of presidential documents that may or may not be classified and which may or may not fall under the Presidential Records Act. So, why not call his lawyer?
The law, created after the Nixon presidency, has been a point of contention for virtually every president since. It’s unclear what papers the former president has at Mar-a-Largo, but Mr. Trump stated last night that they drilled into his private safe in their search.
In prior administrations, papers or items that should have been turned over to the National Archives or the General Services Administration have had their return negotiated with the responsible agency. Former President Clinton and his wife, as an example, left the White House with nearly $30,000 in furniture that should have gone to the GSA since they were gifts to the United States, not the Clinton’s. (Mrs. Clinton famously deleted 33,000 emails, destroyed the computer, lied about it, and was still not charged with a crime.) Other presidents have kept documents for their post-presidential books.
As a law-and-order proponent, your humble writer advocates for the police and law enforcement in general. Now I find myself more convinced and more grieved – than ever that the corruption of both the Attorney General, the DOJ, the FBI, and the intelligence agencies constitute a clear and present danger to the Republic. Like so much of our government, including the intelligence community, the DOJ and the FBI are beyond reform. They must be rebuilt from the ground up.
We cannot have rouge, uncontrolled and armed agents from any agency threatening the public, the Republic, and ignoring the Constitution of the United States. We are on the ragged edge of tyranny. These agencies and the Socialist Democratic Party in the White House and Congress have proven that they are unfit for power. Frankly, if they win even 10% of the House seats in the mid-terms, it will be a travesty.

Here is nub of the situation. Who packed all the boxes and when? If they were packed prior to Trump leaving office and shipped at that time, then his claim of declassification stands and cannot be disputed. Thus the FBI raided his home and picked up boxes of declassified material. I found it curious that there were no addresses or identifying marks shown just the FBI listing. There would certainly be records associated with the shipping and the address shipped too. So the MSM, once again, is making stuff up to sell. Further, since the declassified information was mishandled by the FBI, the chain of custody can no longer be depended upon. Maybe the Mar-a-Logo security cameras captured some of the action during the seizure but certainly not after. Another botch job by the desperate FBI and DOJ stasi.
Yes, corruption does lead to more corruption.
Fat Boy’s life is an example of corruption leading to more corruption. Fat Boy has been corrupt since at least age 13. He has protected himself with rabid dog attorneys and a practice of attack, sue, lie, and pay off. Corruption piled upon corruption — that is Donald Trump’s life story.

Mar-A-Largo has over 100 rooms and 30+ outbuildings. Yet, the FBI knew exactly where to go to find Trump’s stash of highly classified documents.
How did that happen?
Was there a snitch in Mar-A-Largo? Who was the snitch — Melania, Jared, Ivanka, Don Jr., Eric, or maybe Kimberly Guilfoyle?
If they knew exactly where to go, then why go into Melanies wardrobe or break into an empty safe? Logic isnt your strong suit.
They didn’t . That’s Fox talking.
Well, so far it would appear that only middle-class people have been charged for the Jan. 6 attempted overthrow. The little guy/girl. No politicians, lawyers, or millionaires, that I know of have be arrested.
Somebody, somewhere, planned, conspired, organized, the attempted coup. Not some middle class day laborer from some nowhere town in the middle nowhere America.
Who was that person or those people? Why are they being protected? Who was the leader?
As with Charlottesville, we know the answer. The democrats running the government
Exactly,
Why didnt the Virginia Democrat Attorney General investigate the tiki torch stunt at UVA?
Because its the same Democrats (McAuliffe) that stood outside the Campaign bus of Candidate Youngkin.
Let’s review the bidding.
— Trump has a long history of bank. insurance, and tax fraud. When asked to evaluate a property to be used as collateral for a bank loan, he evaluates the property as very, very valuable. Ditto for insurance purposes. This allows him to get a big bank loan and a lot of insurance coverage. But when evaluating property for ta purposes, he claims the property is worth next to nothing. This allows him to keep the taxes low.
— The NY state Attorney General obtained from Trump’s accounting firm all the records, dating back years, showing this pattern. In fact, after turning the records over to the AG, the accounting firm stated that the records were not reliable for evaluation purpose because of Trump’s practices. Then they dropped him.
— Trump has said on many occasions that only a mobster takes the Fifth.
— The NY AG is investigating Trump for tax, insurance, and bank fraud. She has the documents from Trump’s companies, his accountants, his banks, and his insurance companies.
— Trump reported to the NY AG today for a deposition. TRUMP TOOK THE FIFTH IN RESPONSE TO EVERY QUESTION. In fact, after leaving the deposition, he told reporters: “I declined to answer the questions under the rights and privileges afforded to every citizen under the United States Constitution.”
You may reach your own conclusions as to who the mobster is, who the crook is, and who needs to be locked up for a long time. (HINT: And it’s not Merrick Garland, Chris Whray, or anyone else in DOJ. FBI, or White House.)
and yet you refuse to do the bidding when it comes to OBAMA, BIDEN, CLINTON. This is the problem, one sided justice is not justice.
Welcome to the other side of justice that youve (not you specifically but in general) so long refuted. Youre only about two hundred plus years late so you have a ways to go to catch up.
Well, since I am a northerner whose relatives fought in the civil war and were anti-slavery, there is no other side to justice. There is only blind justice holding a scale. You, on the other hand, want justice the same way all democrats have wanted justice. My way or the highway.
I am sure Jeanine will be along any moment now to enforce her one persona rule here any moment now
1st off, Ms. Troll, get your facts straight. Trump has no history of fraud except in the Democrat leadership’s (i.e. the Obama Gang) propaganda. You just spit it out as commanded. Secondly, Le Tittia James, promised to “be a real pain in the ass” to Trump IF elected to be the NYS Attorney General. She was installed via a crooked election and has kept her promise. Two fake impeachments yielded nothing, the fake dossier yielded nothing, the $35 million (taxpayer money) Muller fiasco yielded nothing. Investigations conducted by Democrats mean nothing but a hassle. He will run in 2024 and he will win for a 3rd time.
Meanwhile, whatever happened re: Hillary Clinton’s private server, misuse of classified top secret documents, her staff’s destroying cell phones with hammers? Or how about Joe Biden blackmailing Ukraine to fire their investigator looking in poor Hunter’s dealings with Burisma? Or how about Barack (the real President today) not producing a birth certificate for years? Or how about Bill Clinton’s rape of Juanita Broaddrick OR his covering up the tape of his extra marital affair with Gennifer Flowers? I don’t remember the FBI or any other federal agents busting into the Clintons’ home. Get back to me when you can, trollette.
“Trump has a long history of bank. insurance, and tax fraud.”
Those are serious crimes.
Please provide evidence of the arrest, indictment, conviction and sentencing of Donald Trump for this “long history” of crimes.
Apparently the corrupt actions of the DOJ and FBI are not appreciated. Reports have threats against there personnel on the rise
CONGRATULATIONS!! You should turn this article into a book-length thriller. Guaranteed to win the Pulitzer for fiction.
This FBI raid wasnt about getting info from the past but about Trumps plans for the future. What was taken is totally compromised in much the same way that the Democrats J6 kangaroo show trial is compromised.
I keep hearing that there are good people at the FBI. If we just get rid of the top guys, the FBI can become, once again, the neutral investigators they are supposed to be. And then I see photos of relatively young fully armed FBI agents at Trumps Florida estate. They are every bit as unethical, immoral and corrupt as is Christopher Wray – their excuse being just following orders (see Nazi prison guards). There can be no redemption. All must go and never be allowed in any law enforcement position again.
When a source in an investigation lies that source is deemed not credible so as with a law enforcement agency it can be perceived as a witch hunt that is fabricating evidence.
This is creating a perception that foreign countries/governments dont trust the United States.
These actions by the Biden Administration will now lend an ear to foreign countries saying that the United States has or is fabricating lies.
These actions will undoubtedly have an effect on foreign affairs.
Bidens word is less than meaningless.
