I want to first start off this article by saying a personal congratulations to the newly elected House Speaker Mike Johnson. While I may not know much about him, I am very impressed by everything I’ve heard about him thus far concerning his Conservatism and I pray that God will guide him as he governs this great nation. And a word of caution to him would be to stay far away from the playbook that John Boehner, Paul Ryan and Kevin McCarthy all abided and pledged their allegiance to.
Folks were in the home stretch and the 2023 Election is less than a couple of weeks away. While it is very important to cast your votes for the various statewide and local races throughout the Commonwealth, it is also very important to help the candidates with the time and resources we may have available wherever you may be!
Here in my home of Appomattox County our Republican Senate candidate John McGuire and Republican House candidate Tom Garrett are unopposed but with both having Democratic “write in” candidates despite the fact that both Senate District 10 and House District 56 are very red districts, they both still need your support and valuable vote.
And also in Appomattox County we have some very competitive Supervisor and School Board races along with the Constitutional offices (all which are unopposed).
While I have already cast my vote, made a few endorsements and spread the word to others I know and throughout social media, I will be out on Election Day at the polls doing all I can to help get good Godly people elected as this isn’t just another run of the mill election but instead a battle of Good vs Evil and our morals and children’s futures are at stake not just in the Commonwealth but even in our communities.
We also have a duty to retain the House of Delegates and to take back the Senate, and while some of the Republican nominees I have some questions concerning their stance on certain social views (especially abortion) which I personally and I’m sure many others will hold them accountable to as well. We need to undo the damage of the Northam administration, pass a life a conception bill and un-California this great Commonwealth.
Wherever you may be and if you have any time, money and/or resources I ask you to get to the polls and vote (if you haven’t already) and help out your fellow man or woman that is in the fight to restore morals, bring forth fiscal responsibility and stand up for our children’s welfare. Even if a certain candidate doesn’t live in your district, that said candidate still represents you just as much as their own constituents as a whole as far as the Commonwealth and your community are concerned.
Every vote counts and your vote is the matter of life and death both morally and for the unborn, believe it or not. Even in your part of campaigning and telling others about the candidates seeking the job to represent us, your influence on an individual also applies to your cast vote.
As for the voter who professes Christian faith. Voting is an action and remember we will all stand one day before Jesus Christ and take account for our words and our actions and that includes how we voted and did we vote for that which He declares righteous and did we vote against that which He declares immoral.
Bottom line is get out and vote and help your fellow man and woman to make a difference in their country, state and community.
There is some good in this world and it’s worth fighting for. – J.R.R Tolkien
And I agree with Mr. Tolkien on this and I also add that it’s indeed worth fighting for especially when we have a God in Heaven who gave His life for us so we can have eternal life with Him and He alone is the prize worth fighting for.

Well said Brother Bradley!
Apparently Speaker Johnson is already back tracking by agreeing to allow the continuing, lack of transparency, flow of billions of deficit dollars to Ukraine. So says the media reports.
We learn this morning that the state of Israel has cut off communications from inside Gaza. No doubt, this is so the atrocities they intend to commit will not be seen. Remember, it was these same Jews, and their leaders, who were given a choice between the crucifixion of the completely innocent Jesus Christ, or the Criminal Barabbas, in front of Pilot. They choose to Crucify Jesus Christ, and release the criminal.
Matthew 27:24-26
24 When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “It is your responsibility!”
25 All the people answered, “His blood is on us and on our children!”
26 Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed Him over to be Crucified.
God gives Israel a divorce,
Jeremiah 3:8,
8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
The United States is now supporting the state of Israel, that God divorced. The same Jews who had the innocent Jesus Christ executed. Shame on the now Un-United States, as it will suffer greatly for this. Is there no crime that the people who executed the innocent Jesus Christ are not capable of committing?
So, there you have it.
Your blog post is not well calculated to persuade centrist voters. If all Republican candidates talked like you, the Democrats would win in a landslide, sad to say.
We ought not entangle religion with politics. Government has no business with any church nor should they. lest we embrace all manner of evil along the way. We can do better than such compromise, which was the whole point of leaving behind the Church of England.
