The Young Republican Federation of Virginia met today in Richmond for their biannual convention to elect new officers. In attendance were 243 delegates from around the Commonwealth.
The “Elevate YRFV” ticket swept the elections by a razor-thin margin. They elected the following officers and representatives:
Also elected to the State Central Committee was Ericka Day Dyer.
A straw poll was taken at the convention with following results:
For Governor:
Ed Gillespie: 81 votes, 84%
Corey Stewart: 9 votes, 9%
Frank Wagner: 6 votes, 6%
For Lt Governor:
Jill Vogel: 44 votes, 46%
Bryce Reeves: 27 votes, 28%
Glenn Davis: 23 votes, 24%
