As I witness the fifth night of violent unrest in Los Angeles, I am deeply appalled and concerned that what we are seeing is the breakdown of civil society. What is being labeled by many of the left as “civil disobedience” is nothing more than lawlessness. These are not peaceful protests — they are riots led by individuals who choose destruction over dialogue. Property is being vandalized, lives are being threatened, and the very fabric of civil society is under attack.
It is unacceptable, and yet, once again, the media and Democratic Party leaders appear more interested in political spin than ground truth. They are gaslighting the public, downplaying wanton criminal behavior, and excusing violence in the name of empty and flawed ideology.
Let’s be clear: no cause, no matter how passionately held, justifies the destruction of communities or the endangerment of innocent lives. Civil disobedience does not mean chaos. Law and order are not optional — they are essential to a functioning society.
As a proud Republican and conservative citizen of the great Commonwealth of Virginia, I urge all of us to engage in this year’s critical governor’s race. The Democratic candidate, Abigail Spanberger, has an established record that speaks volumes of where she really stands on the issues. Her policies and voting history align with the Biden administration’s failed national agenda — an agenda that has led to inflation, insecurity, and the erosion of common-sense values.
We cannot afford to let Virginia follow in the footsteps of California. We must take a stand – it is now or never.
That’s why I support Winsome Earle-Sears as our next Governor. Her leadership, values, and vision represent the strength, discipline, and integrity we need. Winsome has consistently stood for individual freedom, public safety, strong education, and economic opportunity.
Virginia’s future is on the line, and so is the future of our children, communities, and freedoms. Let’s make our voices heard. Let’s rally our neighbors, donate, volunteer, and vote.
Because this election is not just about politics — it’s about survival of the values we Republicans believe are sacred and not subject to negotiation.

It isn’t a breakdown of Civil society. It is an attempt to overthrow the government. The very foundation of America is ar risk.
You have to overcome the useful idiots in NoVa and that is going to be a tall order James. Trump attacked their way of life which is the federal government tit. Not that the feckless swamp monkeys like Speaker Johnson didn’t restore the spending with the Big Bill… but its symbolic now and idiots like you have that post here run with that.
I wonder if the Media Matters assholes who post here realize how fragile their country is… No not because of Trump being a King you dumbasses… But look at that picture. You have a complete polyglot boarding house of people who fly the flags of THEIR Country and it ain’t the USA.
And an economic system that is crumbling under the weight of stupid spending… And you dumbasses don’t want a border and think you can support tens to hundreds of millions of poor people.
It’s gonna get rough here in the USA in the coming decades… Enjoy the rest of your time stupid boomer Democrats… apres you the deluge.
Well said Brother Ros 1
Amen. I was an early supporter/contributor to her campaign. I have posted r=frequently and vigorously to our fellow Virginians that we have NO OTHER CHOISe except Winsome-Sears, Read and Miyares. I do NOT care what your personal opinion of him or them is. If you stay home or do something stupid like write in someone else’s name you are electing the democrat traitors and destroying any hope of retaining our rights under the constitution. Don’t be “that guy”. Get off your butts and work to get them elected.
