Letter from Eve Marie Gleason, a member of SCC from the 10th district to Andrew Nicholson, chairman of the 10th district:
October 24, 2018
Andrew Nicholson, Chairman
RE: Resignation from SCC
Dear Mr. Chairman:
It is with gratitude that I write to inform you of my resignation as a member of the State Central Committee, effective upon the election of my successor by the 10th District Committee.
Due to changing family circumstances, I do not anticipate being able to continue to fill the requirements of this role. While these changes are positive, it is appropriate to step back in order to allow someone else to devote the time and energy necessary to represent Tenth District Republicans on our congressional district committee and the State Central Committee.
It has truly been an honor to serve in this role for the last six and a half years. I am so very grateful for the many opportunities I have had within our party during this season and especially for the opportunities I have had to get to know so many truly wonderful Republican women and men who are working for the betterment of their communities and country.
In the season ahead, I intend to stay as involved as I am able with the Loudoun County Republican Committee and conservative candidates. I wish you and my colleagues the very best as you continue to advance the principles of the Republican Party.
Yours for Liberty,
Eve Marie Barner Gleason
