Four people have announced their intention to run for the chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia when the State Central Committee meets in January.
The four candidates are:
Mike Clancy, former candidate for Congress in the 10th district.
Nicholas Proffitt works for the Attorney General and is a SCC representative from the 2nd Congressional district.
Lynne Bogle, chairwoman of the Patrick County Republican Committee and a SCC representative from the 9th Congressional district.
Cameron Hamilton who served as Trump’s acting director of FEMA.
A candidate may also be nominated from the floor at the next RPV SCC meeting.
