I’m sure most Virginians will agree with me when I say that a lot is at stake, especially if like me they identify as a Conservative which is why it is extremely crucial to do our research, get to know the candidates and get out to vote to assure that Republicans retain the House and win back the Senate if we want to start seeing progress but we must also beware of certain candidates that claim they are something when in reality they are not and one candidate that comes into question is Glen Sturtevant.
Glen who served in Virginia’s 10th Senate district from 2016-2020 before his defeat by the now incumbent Democrat, Senator Ghazala Hashmi is once again seeking to go back to the Senate in the newly redistricted 12th Senate district which now covers parts of Chesterfield County and all of Colonial Heights, in this race he has a couple other candidates running to win the Republican nomination and they are Senator Amanda Chase who currently represents the 11th Senate district and Tina Ramirez and while I am not personally endorsing Chase nor Ramirez, Republican voters of the 12th district have a big choice to make before the June 20th primaries and again if they identify as a Conservative then Glen is not the one to send back to Richmond.
On his campaign website, Glen claims to be a proven Conservative leader and he has a voting record in the Senate that proves otherwise. He claims to be 100% Pro-Life but his support and vote for the Equal Rights Amendment contradicts his claims, He claims to support school choice but during his tenure on the Richmond School Board, his votes show that he did the exact opposite, another claim is that he supports the preservation, protection, and defending of the 2nd Amendment but once more he showed that claim to be false by his vote for SB 1458. This is just a tidbit of what to know but if one digs deep enough I am sure one will find more contradictions to Sturtevant’s claims.
The facts and voting records do not lie, the proofs in the pudding on this one folks and please don’t take my word for it, do your research and one place to start is a very helpful website paid for by Tina Ramirez’s campaign of course, but you will be mind blown at the things on it and proof that is undeniable, therealglensturtevant.com. Take the facts and compare them to the false claims by Sturtevant on his website as well. Again we have a sure chance to take back the Senate and retain control of the House but if we want to do that let alone stand up for unborn life 100%, the welfare of our children, and our 2nd Amendment rights which are enshrined in our nation’s Constitution, etc then we need to start by sending real proven Conservatives to get the job done and Glen Sturtevant is no Conservative!
So folks who do you want representing Senate District 12 a Conservative who fights or a RINO who will only compromise our values and cater to the desires of the Liberal elite?
