We have all watched in disgust and horror as Democrat-led public school systems across the country have told boys that they CAN be girls and vice versa if only they want it bad enough.� We have seen unreported rapes by “transgender” boys in girls’ bathrooms.� We have seen children forced to wear masks IF allowed to go to school rather than being forced to attend school virtually via computer during the planned demic of 2020.� We have witnessed how parents who spoke up against the madness at school board meetings were branded ‘domestic terrorists’.� We have watched “Drag Queens” (men, often bearded, in women’s clothing) read stories about homosexuality and “crossing over” to kindergarteners.� We watched as the Critical (Criminal is a better word) Race Theory instructed white children to hate themselves because they were innately racist.� And we have watched our taxes go up to support this madness.��
But, the tide is turning.� Public school attendance is down across our endangered nation as parents are fed up with the indoctrination of their children so budgets are being cut.� According to the Democrat-friendly Associated Press, Des Moines has seen a drop of 1600 students, Minneapolis 4000, California 110,000, Houston 11,000, and on, and on.� Olathe (KS) is cutting 140 jobs and Oakland is closing 7 schools. You can be sure this is just the tip of the public school iceberg.��So where are the kids?� Homeschooling has shot up and more and more private schools are filled to capacity.�
Hopefully, this is just a small beginning of the end of public schools.� School Choice has never been needed more.� Let the private sector open its own schools.� Competition will mean lower tuition.� Companies would buy schools already built so infrastructure costs will be low.� Teacher salaries will be lower as unions won’t be able to force them to join.�
If poor parents can’t afford these schools, maybe their families could help out, you know, grandpa/grandma/aunts/uncles.� Different strata of schools would open, i.e. advanced studies, average abilities, below average/behaviorally confrontational.��Remember that so many “poor” kids go to public schools and learn literally nothing of use because they simply won’t sit quietly or pay attention.� Why hurt all the kids that do want to learn?��The chips will all fall into their proper places.��
Imagine that, for example,�the�53% of real estate taxes paid to the Fairfax School Bd was not collected from homeowners.� That could be spent on schooling kids.� More kids would mean more expense for the child’s parent(s) unless the new schools offer family discounts.� IF this doesn’t seem fair to you or if anyone is outraged by these radical changes, they could donate unlimited amounts of their own money…all they want!…to a Voluntary Education Fund set up for�outraged�people or those with guilty consciences.� Or just shut up.� And, of course, I’m sure our billionaire class like Gates, Bezos, Musk, Tim Cook, etc. would kick some big bucks or create their own schools.��
We need change from what we waste so much money on and we need it now.�
