“We now are in the Lenten season — Good Friday today, and then we have Easter coming up,” the governor said. “It’s all about forgiveness and giving people second chances.”
A bill to ban the box was introduced this year in the General Assembly where it passed in the Senate but failed in the House of delegates. So the Governor simply ordered it done by executive fiat. Sound familiar? The Governor said,
“That little box is no more.”
