First Governor Youngkin flew to New York last week to meet with three GOP megadonors in Manhattan. Then his visit went on to include 3 interviews with national news outlets.
Next week he will make his first political appearance outside the commonwealth when he visits Nebraska.
Lately, the Governor has been referring to what Americans need rather than what Virginians need. Subtle, but it could mean something. Also, he has stopped saying he is solely focused on Virginia and is “humbled” that so many people are requesting that he run for President in 2024.
From the WashingtonPost.com:
“I am always humbled by this request, but we have a lot of work to do today in Virginia,” Youngkin told Brian Kilmeade last week, as the Fox & Friends co-host queried him about a run during an interview in Richmond. But when Kilmeade pressed him on whether he’d made a decision, Youngkin seemed to acknowledge that he was actively considering a bid, saying, “I have not made a decision yet.”
Youngkin appeared to encourage the speculation in a separate Fox interview that aired Monday, when Kilmeade noted that there’s “a buzz about you running for president.”
“We’ll see what comes next,” Youngkin replied.”

The Republican Party should welcome the clash of deSantis and Youngkin. DeSantis is america first while Youngkin is one of many.
My fellow Republicans are frustrating me. If Youngkin has globalist tendencies, so what!? He knocked out the Democrats and carried the VA House and all three top of the ticket positions. Do you remember the Democrat cesspool we were in just 6 months ago? Virginia suddenly lurched to the Right, and Youngkin’s win in Virginia was the spark that ignited Republicans for a blowout election this upcoming November.
Your are looking so far down the gift horse’s mouth that your eyeballs are stuck in the crap of the equine rectum. Youngkin is a MASSIVE improvement for Virginia.
Youngkin is presidential material, but he can’t get there yet. Either Trump or Desantis would beat him out, but it is great that Republicans have such a deep bench for President. Realistically, Youngkin is going to take out Senator Mark Warner. Youngkin’s term ends January 2026. Warner is up for reelection in November 2026. That gives Youngkin the perfect transition and he gets to do Virginia another great favor by removing Mark Warner. He is a very smart man. Posturing for a presidential run will just help his senatorial run and he could very well run for President in 2028.
Sounds perfect Mr. Dickinson! I would LOVE to see Governor Youngkin beat the far left do nothing, Mark Warner.
You need to go look at the Wokeism post and see who posted under the name Margaret Bevans Ransone. Your cousin John was chuckling about the post.. go read it… I suspect he posted it. It is not legal to post things on the internet in someone else’s name.
I am going to point out again that some posted under a real person’s name and you need to do something about that one.. They have to be banned from the site…
Well David… electing the type of Republican that is a possible Romney.. very similar in background.. is like putting Roberts on the Supreme Court or Sutter etc. Hoorah!!! And then you get Roberts siding with the liberals more often than not..
Yesterday Roberts and that Bush Baby Kavanaugh came up with a hiumdinger of a decision to allow Bribem to reverse remain in Mexico… without amending the Regulation.
Roberts LOVES illegal immigration just like his bro Kavanaugh… Two Bush POS judicial clowns…
So forgive me if I don’t get excited over Youngkins’ long term plans…. Globalism uber allies.. But yeah he did beat that scroungy Clinton scumbag. But MacCauliffe self destructed…
If Youngkin was competing against more conservative Republicans, I’d whistle a different tune maybe. But he is knocking off far Left Democrats which moves us all to the Right, and he is pulling along other Republicans for the ride as they push out other Democrats. I don’t like Romney either, but I like Romney a lot more than Obama. Youngkin versus Warner? I’ll take Youngkin every single time.
Youngkin is a Romney sort of person really… Don’t trust him.
There are better, true, pro America, meaning all citizens, than our current Governor. All of these “back room deals”, are disgusting. It is obvious that people are being bought and paid for. That is Not how this system was intended to work. When elections are determined prior to Election Day, it is no longer the, “will of the people”! When we see a horrible candidate like Kiggans, take out a true man of all people, Chief Jarome Bell, the corruption, is obvious. This is exactly why they “had” to remove Trump. We had someone who ruined their narrative, and plans. Anyone paying attention, and follows the hypocrisy, can smell a rat.
Youngkin;
Soft enough to beat race baiter Tiki Torch McAullife,
not bold to be America First.
“After they get elected they go to work on being re-elected”

Hard pass. Glad our wannabe oligarch defeated the Democrats’ career hack last year, but that’s as far as it goes. Nope.
You have summed it up completely. Did Youngkin ever go to the WEF or DAVOS meetings to sit at the knee of Herr Klaus? I am sure he wants to.
Yes. Youngkin did plenty of interviews with the MSM at Davos over the years. A quick search pulls them up. Remember he was at the top of Carlyle which is the top global venture (vulture) capital firm in the world.
He is a the quintessential globalist “Davos Man”. Establishment Uniparty decepticon in sheep’s clothing. All so easy and caring. Many will be fooled. I voted for him but with eyes wide open to his future aspirations.
Glenn — settle in and do right by Virginia. Do the job we hired you for and fulfill your promises. We will love and praise you for your work. Then be satisfied and retire happy with your many multi-millions. Or continue your contract with the GOP establishment uniparty, spend billions in your quest for power, and loose badly.
This rumor started early in his campaign that this has been the plan from the start. It was the GOP establishment who courted him. Youngkin can be the “Savior of Virginia” to republicans and still appeal to moderate liberals. Straight up Decepticon.
The visible signs started right after election day.
Remember Paul Ryan attending the inauguration and him saying he has known Youngkin since he (Ryan) was 23? Youngkin has been running in the elite DC club for a long time.
Remember Youngkin immediately going soft on his plethora of promises right after the election?
Who did he hire for schools? Did he fire all in the Dept. of Ed “on day on” like he promised? Same for Dept. of Elections.
And now his compromise of 15 weeks for abortion. Just enough to appease both sides. Guessing he will pay off all the right people and organizations to stifle criticism of why he is backing off from his “life starts at conception” campaign rhetoric.
It certainly smells like he’s running.
My question is…. was McAuliffe paid off at the end to throw the election to Youngkin? Did the Uniparty believe Youngkin was more useful and had a shot at beating Trump (should be jump in — possibly next week). McAulliffe isn’t stupid, yet he choose Loudoun to make stupid comments. Loudoun which was crazy at that time over parents and schools. Remember the polls had Youngkin a couple points behind and he was running a lack-luster coma-like campaign over the summer, so why did McAwful keep on saying things that everyone knew would inflame, especially in NOVA where a lot of his base reside. Where is McAwful now anyway? Bernie got paid off twice to give up the DNC nomination, so this is not a unknown trick. Dark manipulation.
I’m not disparaging the efforts of republicans last year. Not at all. I just wonder if with the race being close and likely that McAwful would win, if Youngkin and his globalist pals didn’t buy themselves the race to put “governor” on Youngkin’s resume.
I predicted this early on. Youngkin is a globalist. Since globalists have little opportunity to do their dirty work as governor, it was apparent that this position is a stepping stone. Luckily there are a few pro-America people who’ll likely run and he hopefully won’t advance.
