UPDATE: Politico is reporting that Moran will retire. And the Washington Post is now covering his announcement. No one seems to know the reason for Moran’s sudden change in plans. The question now, what does Brian Moran do? He just accepted a position in McAuliffe’s administration but it has long been thought that if his brother ever stepped down from Congress, Brian Moran would run for his seat.
Rumors abound tonight on Twitter and elsewhere that Jim Moran will announce his retirement later today. We live in hope (and not the one in Arkansas). Virginia’s 8th district deserves better than an anti-Semitic, wife abusing, creep like Jim Moran.
