Fellow Virginians,
“When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.”
It is time for a peaceful separation when it comes to the education of Virginia’s children, and this is something every conservative, libertarian, and classic liberal can get behind.
Many of Virginia’s children have been subjected to what can only be described as educational negligence if not outright abuse:
- Closed schools for months at a time
- Cancelled graduations, dances, and other events long considered American rites of passage
- Dysfunctional distance learning programs
- Political propaganda in their classrooms (online and in-person)
- Dehumanizing social distancing and mask mandates
- Unethical pressure to participate in Pfizer injection trials
- Automatic enrollment in sexual education that is often in violation of many families’ morals
- Inappropriate and even sexually explicit content in classroom books
- Immoral bathroom, locker room, and overnight trip policies that put students’ privacy, modesty, and safety at risk
- Tyrannical speech mandates (preferred pronouns/titles) in violation of First Amendment rights
- Anti-white classroom indoctrination and staff training
- Anti-Asian admissions policies
All of the local, state, and national teachers’ unions support this list of abuses.

Many Virginia school boards, school administrators, the federal court system, and the Virginia Department of Education also support these abuses. To think that a Republican governor can fix this mess is naïve—the problem is just too big, like an invasive mutant weed with deep, widespread roots.
The only thing we can do is separate…and take educational funds with us.
We need political warriors willing to introduce and sponsor School Choice bills that ensure educational funds follow the students, not school districts. We need delegates who have the courage to discharge a bill in the state legislature, even if it makes establishment Republicans cry.
We do not need to have longwinded debates about Critical Race Theory, or the definition of “woman,” or who gets to qualify as a girl in the locker room, or whether or not a face diaper can protect against viral transmission. We do not need to pick winners and losers among religious faiths.
We must take a purely neutral stance that puts all the power in the hands of parents and lets THEM decide how best their children should be educated. It could be a charter school, a Catholic boarding school, a homeschooling tutor, or their local government school if they so desired. Click here to support our efforts to pass School Choice.
You want your kid to go to the ‘Wokest’ school in the area? Have at it! And if your neighbor would rather send his child to a madrasa, that’s his prerogative! At this point, NOTHING the teachers’ unions and establishment Republicans have insisted will happen if School Choice is passed can be worse than what the government schools have done to Virginia’s children in recent years.
We have hit rock bottom. And so it is time we split amicably, divided our funds, and went our separate ways. Our differences are irreconcilable.

PPS- They are our kids, it is our money, and it must be our choice. To compel us to pay for a school system that pushes values we oppose is tyranny. This is why it is vital that you ask every single candidate running for office in Virginia whether or not they support FULL School Choice. Not some watered down, compromised half measure. If they do not, they simply support the continued use of your money to indoctrinate children. It is that simple.
